1. The purpose of the study. Why did these researchers decide to study this particular phenomenon? What past studies or information led them to think this study would further our knowledge about social and/or personality development in some way?
2. The methods or how the study was conducted. Who were the subjects (ages, sex, number of subjects)? What were the stimuli used? What were the conditions of the study?
3. The results or what happened. What were the results of this study? What differences were there between conditions and subjects in the outcome of the tests used in the study? For this paper, you need not report actual statistical values but you should be well-aware of the results’ meanings. In other words, know which effects were significant or note-worthy and which were not.
4. Conclusion/Discussion. What did it all mean? What new thing(s) did the results tell us? Include your own evaluation of the study. Was the research well done? Were the participants representative? Were the conclusions logical?
