The paper should focus on a current or previously faced environmental issue.Students are to express their carefully thought out and well argued perspective on a relevant movie or documentary (e.g. Erin Brockovich, A Civil Action, An Inconvenient Truth),a news issue (e.g. banning of plastic bottled water), or event (e.g. BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico,Syncrude tailings pond, nuclear disaster in Japan). Students are free to pick any topic in the area of environmental management that is of interest and relevance to them.
