The project can be a new innovation that would create ease of life, work, and leisure for humanity or it can involve any problem(s) in an organization that stop(s) them of being effective and eventually profitable that needs to improvement. The student should fill the position of a consultant and provide a workable solution.
If student(s) choose to work on the problem-based project, they should search for a business, a department within an organization, or a start-up. Fine the problem(s) area and identify the problem thoroughly, then provide a solution that involves technology component(s) that they have learned in the course.
The project must develop a clear strategy and with a product or systems introductory plan, innovative ideas that solve problems and provides solutions, as well as revenue generating plans. Students may use any new emerging technology as a niche to gain competitive advantage over the competition. Project work will be graded on a number of criteria, including; conformance to prescribed content and format, grammar, readability, and the use of technical notations and diagrams as necessary. Each student requires producing a minimum report of between 7-10 pages, as well as, cover page and the reference list page. The font should be 12 pts., of either Times New Roman, Arial or Verdana. The paper should be left justified and must be double spaced; APA guidelines should be strictly followed all along the paper.
