GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

If it is an Internet source, I need a complete URL along with the name of the title and the author. Do not simply say “just Google it” or “check on Amazon.”
D.Write in your own words except when it makes sense to use a technical term. Do not “parrot” back answers from the textbook. Putting answers in your own words shows that you know what you are talking about.
QUESTIONS:
1.The security principles of least privilege and separation of duties work well against internal threats within an organization. Explain how they can be used against external threats. Be specific in your answer.
2.Read Lab Project 21.2 on page 559 in your textbook. As indicated in the Lab, describe two weaknesses in the change management process in the diagram and explain what you would do to correct these control weaknesses.
3.Explain the differences between the IT security models of MAC, DAC, and RBAC (both Rules-Based & Role-Based) and give, in your own words, two examples of each.
4.Why do risks always exist even if you take countermeasures? After answering generally this question, give three specific examples in IT security where risk remains after deploying reasonable defenses.
5.Refer to page 594 in the text, Question 3 under “Essay Quiz” and then answer in detail what steps you would take to terminate the attack and secure the computer for forensic analysis.
