This is a research project that requires us to have primary data which should be collected by surveys or interviews as well as secondary data which is the “reading ” part of the research which includes web searches as well as books.

Introduction/Background:
This research will revolve around the different types of carriers and look into the differences between them, focusing on low cost carriers and full service carriers. The subject matters or companies chosen for this research will be Emirates and Fly Dubai in which they will act as examples to showcase the differences between their respective carrier types. This research will look into what services these carriers offer, their prices and possibly what could be the strategy that each of these carriers carry out in their operations. The research will include each pros and cons that the carriers possess as well as look into which carrier type do passengers prefer in order to analyse whether or not which carrier are needed the most in order to meet passengers demands.
Information for this research paper will be gathered and obtained by using the traditional method of interviewing personals who work within both Emirates and Fly Dubai; as the research will need to include some facts gathered from individuals from these carrier companies. Surveys and other case studies will also be looked at in order to see whether or not the findings are applicable for other carriers or is this case just for Emirates and Fly Dubai.
Aims:
The aim of this project is to analyse the services that each carrier type are offering their customers, look at their prices and come to a conclusion of which carrier is actually meeting customer demands more efficiently.
Objectives: (usually 5 or 6 ‘SMART’ objectives)
• Identifying and compare all services that Emirates and Fly Dubai offers their customers
• Analyse the prices listed for these services within Emirates and Fly Dubai
• Identifying pros and cons of each of the carriers
• Identify which carrier meets customer demands
( note: the professor commented that my objectives are not ‘ SMART’ objectives, maybe you would have better objectives I don’t mind changes in them)
