I have made The Entrepreneur Interview with the above name and I have to produce an essay the essay can be split by first intro and rationale. Than compare him with other 2 entrepreneur peter jones meets michael acton smith and Laura Tenison the interview can be found on youtube and the reference for that I think BBC 2010. In the first section which is the introduction to have one or 2 defination of what is entrepreneur ? example of who defined them ( DRUCKER, EMERSON, BOLTON AND THOMPSON, JOSEPH SCHUMPTER) THE ESSAY HAS TO VE 3 DEFINATIONS . SECOND PART IS evaluations where to compare the entrepreneur I have made the interview with the above-mentioned names and have subheadings for each of the 4 heading and discuss 2 or three question of the sub heading include quote from my answers. Then just make up personal reflection as another part and then discussion then conclusion. Background information
– Could you please give me a brief about you current business?
My current business is Tacos Locos its Mexican restaurant I also have Istanbul Turkish restaurant, which I just opened 5 months ago. Also I have a local kebob shop I had it for over 20 years. I have 18 businesses in UK at the moment.
– What is your business mission, and purpose?
To sell delicious and remarkable food and drinks. I always look for unique food where many people like and enjoy and I try always to make it perfect. You know I am a business man and want people to enjoy the food we cook in any of my restaurants sand in return i would make money and it would be a win -win situation and to get to know people.
Personal Journey
– What motivates and inspired you to open your business? ( family, friend, Education)
I come from a (humble) background I think that what drove me to start doing business. Also my wife is supportive and helped me throughout the start of my business.
– What elements contributed to your success? When you have wheel and carriage and know what you want and how to get it you will get there no matter what. There are obstacles, but the main thing is to know what you are doing.
Identity
– every entrepreneur has characteristics that led to their success can you please describe them? Motivation I think is the first character that comes to my mind because with out it you can not start anything. Another characteristic is having mindset is determined and if there any opportunity they take it right away.
– What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur? Will my first skill would be motivation- opportunist and determination.
– What are your entrepreneurial traits? It’s hard to say but what I would consider myself would be motivation-confidence- decision making.
– Any weaknesses? Planning and organizing sometimes I want to do many things but I don’t have enough time. I always take risks I think sometimes I need to manage the risk before I go ahead and make the decision.
– Do you see your self as an entrepreneur? I don’t consider myself as entrepreneur I am person who know what to do when I have an opportunity to make money.
Challenges
– what are the challenges you face as an entrepreneur? I think to have dedicated employees to keep, and keeping with government regulations.
– In your opinion what challenges do entrepreneurs face in the current state of the economy? I think these days to get a loan (funding) . or financed to start a business is biggest challenge.
Future:
– How do you see yourself in the future? and what are your goals?
I am workaholic I love work so I will always be seeking opportunity to open new businesses and seek challenges.
