-Does it capture the sources of various sources, i.e. Journal, Internet, newspapers, etc.?
-Is the literature review not dated?

5) The problem statement:

-Is the problem informed by the debates in the literature?
-Does the statement capture the focus of the proposed research?
-Is the problem worthy of academic investigation? (Does it relate to theoretical and practical significance, is it trying to study the obvious?)
-Is it focus?

6) Research design:

-Is appropriate method for data collection chosen?
-Is the sample size adequate?
-Is the analysis methodology clear and correct?

7) Ethical considerations:

-Does it make provisions for all ethical clearances?

8) References

-Does it use the correct format (Harvard referencing)?
-References are not dated (older than 15 years).
-Does it capture several sources (academic journals, Internet, news magazines, etc.)?
