chapters of the National Preventative Health Strategy, Australia: The Healthiest Country by 2020, the
government’s response, Taking Preventative Action and the approach Victoria has taken to its work
in relation to obesity prevention, ie, Healthy Together Victoria, using the Obesity Policy Action
Framework (OPA) (which we will look at in one of the upcoming modules). You then need to
consider why there were differences between the recommendations and the actions and what the
implications are and then make recommendations for changes that would enhance the effectiveness
of the Victorian approach.
