Project and Presentation (20% – 30 Marks)
Task:
Student must envision and describe a case (situation) from real work, either from their own experiences or someone’s else experience, which presents a (dilemma, problem, critical incident, or an issue) and present solutions to the problem applying a concept of OB that will solve the problem or multiple concepts as seen fit.
This will include a few sections:
1-Cover page:
– Title – Course name – Student name and ID number – in front of each student name you should write the section the student was responsible for writing and researching. (1 Mark)
– The format should be throughout the case report (Times New Roman, 12 font size, 1.5 spacing, black color for font, 5-8 pages) (1 Mark)
2-Case description:
-Introduction: stating the main task this project will be dealing with. (1 Mark)
-Company back ground and profile. (2 Marks)

-Explaining the issue or problem that you are deciding to look at and analyze. (2 Marks)
No issue will be addressed, However, we will mainly talk about how the Co. has an effective diverse workforce in all its aspects and how managers are getting the best out of their diverse workforce.
3-OB concepts:
-What concept or concepts of OB you see fit in solving the problem. (2 Marks)
Diversity (international people from all around the world with different religions, races, gender, cultures and traditions), Emotional Intelligence and Job satisfaction including ( turnover, absenteeism, citizenship behavior and withdrawal behavior )
– Critical analysis of the situation, multiple perspectives into the situation. (3 Marks)
-How will these concepts be applied and lead to better results in the work place. (3 Marks)
4-Conclusion:
– How the applications of these concepts reflect on an individual, group and organizational levels. (2 Marks)
-Lessons learned from the case study. (2 Marks)
-References: mention all references used be that books, journals, articles, websites or text books in the format of Harvard Business school referencing available online. You can find a guide on (http://sydney.edu.au/business/__data/assets/pdf_file/0007/91681/BSRG_7ed.pdf) (1 Marks)
Note that marks will be deducted from each section for poor grammar and weak flow of ideas.
The final Submission will be in two forms:
1-The written case study report. (20 Marks)
2-Power point presentation of 10-15 minutes. (10 marks)
Both will account for 20% of the final mark of the course work.
