Write a research paper discussing the biblical theology of one Gospel on Salvation. Limit your discussion to the teaching of one Gospel on your subject. The paper should stress the results of your personal inductive study of the text of the Gospel you choose.In addition, you should interact critically with major exegetical commentaries, the major works of New Testament theology, and journal articles. You should use at least 3 modern exegetical commentaries from the recommended list. You should also make use of high quality, modern Bible study reference books, such as Greek Lexicons, word study books, bible dictionaries/encyclopedias, books on biblical culture, and biblical theology books. You should have no fewer than 10 modern research sources, NOT including bibles and concordances. Do not simply repeat the opinions of commentaries, and theology books. Provide evidence for your interpretation of critical issues in the Gospel. The justification of your interpretation should be based on details you observe in the passage, the meaning of Greek words, sentence grammar, passage structure, context, and cultural/historical background information. The Paper should be 8-10 pages (not counting the title page and bibliography), typed in 12 point Times Roman typeface, double spaced, with 1 inch margins, footnotes and bibliography in Turabian style. Written work should follow the style described in Kate L. Turabian, A Manual for writers of term papers and Dissertations. Your writing must be free of spelling and punctuation errors and adhere to the basic rules of English grammar. Write in a clear, straight-forward style appropriate to academic prose. Writing should be well organized and present a clear and coherent argument. All sources must be cited in bibliographic footnotes in Turabia style. Any sentence or phrases taken from any source must be placed in quotation marks and the source must be cited. The source of any ideas that are not your own must also be cited in a footnote, even if you rephrase the concept in your own words. Include a bibliography in Turabian style listing all sources.
