Assignment: Explore Concept Paper Template and PPT Concept Paper
Activity Description
For this assignment, focus on two of these resources (the Concept Paper Template and the PPT Concept Paper) and look at the different expectations based on the research approach used.
As you progress through the research/dissertation, the Northcentral developed resources in the Dissertation Center are essential.
First review the Concept Paper Template including the comments in the margin (located under the Doctoral Candidacy Milestone Document Resources header). Use the NCU Library and research qualitative and quantitative research designs. These two approaches have many similarities; there are some important differences in the way each should be treated. In an APA style document with citations compare and contrast the expectations for each approach as presented in the Concept Paper Template. You may use other references to help clarify the similarities and the differences.
Then, select either quantitative or qualitative approach; for that approach document and discuss the Best Practices suggestions.
Length: 5-7 pages not including title and reference pages.
References: Minimum of 3-5 scholarly resources.
Your paper should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts that are presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your paper should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards..
