Basically the paper (discussion sheet) should discuss Two Materials that I attach, and here is guideline : The length must be no less than two full pages (and no more than three full pages), excluding the cover sheet, double-spaced, and in 12 pt. type. It should be submitted to your instructor at the beginning of recitation with the cover sheet attached. Late discussion sheets will automatically lose one point; none will be accepted beyond one week from the original due date.
Your discussion sheet will be graded on the following basis: it must be handed in on time (1 pt.); you must show an excellent grasp of at least two major issues you identified from Steger’s chapter (3 pts.); you must discuss those issues in a clear and insightful way in relation to one of the assigned essays (3 pts.); and you must show your mastery of writing mechanics with correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation (3 pts.). Your discussion sheet will lose points if it is deficient in any of these areas. It helps to proofread carefully before you submit your discussion sheet.
