The Chief Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing the user interface and systems report features. User interfacing will include, but not be limited to operation controls, such as steering, gear shifting, and interior climate controls. The systems report features will provide the operator with real-time system feedback like speed, RPMs, temperatures, and remaining fuel capacities, while also providing long-term analytical data, such as overall mileage efficiency, system maintenance and component replacement updates. This will require that the Chief Controls Engineer have an understanding of how each component interfaces with the other systems and the critical data that must be monitored to assure safe and efficient operation of the
vehicle.
