You must decide whether each chapter you are reviewing should be accepted for publication, rejected outright, or whether the chapter should be revised and resubmitted. No matter which decision you make about each chapter, you need to provide a written description of the reasons for your decision. Be precise about what the good and bad features of each chapter are and what revisions (if any) are required. You do not have to do line editing, that is, you do not have to go through the chapters finding all the typos, misspellings, grammatical errors, etc., although if your decision is based in part on such considerations, you should provide some guidance about what the errors are. The professor spoke in the lecture about the sorts of things that you might look for while doing these reviews.
