 Dae-Jung – Relationship builder. Dae-Jung was selected to provide harmony not only to the team but also to the bride to be and her family. He works well under stressful situations and provides stability. Dae-Jung also resolves issues efficiently and effectively.
Part 1. During the first few weeks the team was briefed on the organization and culture of Janie’s Bridal. Elizabeth, the bride to be, and her family met one on one with each of the team members. Appointments and plans were mapped out to prepare for Elizabeth’s catering and wedding events to take place in the coming months. Isabel decided to take and organize meeting notes which was eventually approved by everyone in the group. Dae-Jung offered input when needed but otherwise remained silent.
By the end of the first three meetings, the team realized that they needed to regroup and work on pressing issues within the group. Coincidentally, through a SNS (social networking site), Isabel found out that Arzu and Stephan had previously been involved in a relationship. She realized this explained tensions present in their team meetings. Isabel’s trusting and good-natured personality compelled her to keep her team members personal lives confidential. However, a great deal of time was spent discussing why Stephan’s or Arzu’s plans were better suited to Janie’s Bridal. It became apparent that not everyone was on the same page and there was a lack of clarification and open communication. Janie’s Bridal was hesitant to allow the team to continue to function. Arzu’s assertive stance and reputation compelled the organization to push back evaluations until the finished product.
Part 2. A few months later. Despite initial misunderstandings the group has been functioning harmoniously. Isabel has been keeping track of meeting notes and emailing the follow up logistics of dates and deadlines leading up to Elizabeth’s wedding. Dae-Jung has had a calming presence and stepped in when necessary to bring the group back into focus. Stephan has been a dependable team member with a persistent achievement oriented attitude. Arzu utilized her sociable and outgoing nature to overcome disagreements. Overall, the group is dedicated to creating an unforgettable experience for the bride to be.
Part 3. Evaluation. Elizabeth and her family were extremely satisfied with the wedding preparation. Elizabeth specifically took great care in thanking the team members for preparing her dream wedding. The company was very pleased with the overall product of the team. Janie’s Bridal decided to lengthen the groups’ contract to better evaluate the cost benefit ratio of expanding their organization.
