What do you understand by the network society? How has the network society changed the ways in which we work and interact? Explain this through a relevant case study Custom Paper

1. What do you understand by the network society? How has the network society changed the ways in which we work and interact? Explain this through a relevant case study. ONE only

PLEASE FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES :

1 .The case study must have two main components;

• Theories – A theoretical discussion of the issue or issues (academic literature/discussion from academic sources)

• Application of the theory (or theories/academic literature) discussed with reference to ONE case example of choice –this can be a social phenomenon, event, organization, web site, political event, etc.

2. In your theoretical discussion you should define key terms and critically engage with the literature on the topic. Critical engagement is not just a regurgitation of the theory but assessing its strengths, limitations and your judgement of its relevance to how it can be applied to the case study you have chosen.

3. Pay particular attention to the introduction. Use the introduction to set out the parameters of your study (i.e. what you will be doing in the case study).

4. Demonstrate how much you have engaged with the literature you are using through citations and references. Your case study must have adequate academic references and citations. Overuse of one reference is a good indication you may not have read widely.

5. Remember self plagiarism is not allowed. You cannot use the text you have submitted for your presentation report to be used again in your essay. This constitutes self plagiarism.

6. You will lose points for improper citations and references. If you are using internet resources including YouTube and other digital resources – these must be properly cited and must include dates of access or retrieval.

7. You should use literature beyond the reading list and you are encouraged to read widely.

8. Remember that the case study is an academic assignment and hence you should keep to the protocols of academic writing in terms of tone, engagement, use of argument and structure. Instead of personal opinions seek to use informed analysis to engage with the material.

9. Your singular case example could be constructed from various sources – these can include (but are not limited to) electronic sources, books, journals, website, government documents, company reports, etc.

Should Physicians make decisions for their patients in emergency or special situations when they know that the ultimate outcome might negatively affect the well-being of the patient? Ethical Reasoning Argument Essay with writers memo the topic shown above using the Toulmin Model for argument Custom Paper

Ethical Reasoning Argument Essay with writers memo the topic shown above using the Toulmin Model for argument. I have done the research and prepared/submitted a Synthesis Matrix and annotated bibliography for this argumentative essay. I also submitted the proposal and discussed it, as required, with my professor (I will send all documents for your review once I receive login information). He stated that I need to focus on the topic and specific examples surrounding the topic. My proposal was too generic in nature. I want to focus on religious beliefs vs. life or death situations, end of life decisions for the terminally ill, and reproductive/infertility treatment. I want to discuss these areas considering "The Doctrine of Informed Consent", the Hippocratic Oath, and respect of the patient’s autonomy. I support physicans in that they are presented with very challenging situations. They not only have the responsibility to their patients to do no harm, but they must obtain informed consent after providing the patient with sufficient information regarding the benefits and risk for whatever treatment is being suggested. But patient autonomy must be respected and if consent or presumed consent (in the event of an unconscious patient)is not given, then treatment should be avoided.

Deborah Minter’s conference paper (2000) demonstrates how language can constitute both professionals and the people they work with (or for) Custom Paper

Deborah Minter’s conference paper (2000) demonstrates how language can constitute both professionals and the people they work with (or for). Her work also shows how language can accomplish an acknowledged task while creating relationships that are not openly acknowledged.

In this assignment, you are expected to use Minter?s approach to discourse analysis by considering how other documents construct the people involved and their relationship.

1) Find an example of a document that one group uses to accomplish a task in relation to another group ? doctors to patients, landlords to tenants, lawyers to clients, teachers to students, etc.

2) Read the document closely and present it in your essay as carefully and completely as you can.

3) Explain not only what the document says and how it is used, but whether it is written so as to construct the people involved and their relationship. Pay special attention to the language of the document and its form, whether anything is missing from this exchange between parties involved, and/or whether there are some hidden motivations.

4) Reflect and formulate an opinion with regards to the issues Minter raises in her paper: are they unique to the discourse of doctors doing their work in a litigious society or are they commonplace features of any formal exchange?
