Design, Analyze, and Create an Advertisement PURPOSE:

Design, Analyze, and Create an Advertisement PURPOSE: Many artists create works with intended purpose. This is an opportunity for you to create an advertisement of any product with the intent to sell to a particular consumer or convey a particular perspective. Create something original; a personal exploration exploring some specific perspective. The possibilities for this topic are wide and varied. You will present your artists statement along with your created poster ad. You will finalize the project by posting on Blackboard your artwork and artist statements; discussing the ideas behind the inspiration and creation.

FORMAT AND CONTENT:
This is up to you and the type of medium with which you choose to work. The final product should be in the form of a poster or advertisement. You may download a photograph or scan the image of the final product. It may be created through collage, painting, or drawing, or you may create the work digitally.

IMPORTANT:
Whatever you choose to focus on, the relationship of visual image and the intended audience should be the underlying issue that is addressed in the content of your work.
Include an overall view of the artwork as well, and if necessary, one or two close-up details. If there is text included in the work of art, make sure you include what the text says if we will not be able to read it in a photograph.

I already create the Advertisement in the Ad.pfd
The process of Decoding Ad will help you write the essay.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT: Along with the work of art you will post a 4 page (double spaced, typed) artist’s statement explaining:

The focus
The work itself and how it relates to your concept
The anticipated audience
Your anticipated impact on an audience

The reading from the text this week discussed planning and researching as well as writing reports and proposals.

The reading from the text this week discussed planning and researching as well as writing reports and proposals. We are going to apply this knowledge into budget preparation. Please read chapter 1 and 2 in Budgeting Basics and Beyond. These 2 chapters will give you a great foundation as to what makes a good budget. For this assignment, please assume that you are the manager of a property management company. You need your staff to put together a budget for you. This property management company is responsible for managing several office buildings, and you need the property managers to provide you with their projected costs for the coming year. A few things that you will want to provide guidance on:

format of their submission (Word document, Excel spreadsheet, etc.)
due date
do you want the information broken down quarterly or annually?
do you want them to provide explanations for every cost, or just those over a certain amount?
think about the type of costs and income that you would like managers to address, you can be creative here … the point of the assignment is for you to communicate effectively, not master the accounting system of a property management company.

While this list is not all inclusive, it should give you an idea of the type of information you will want to ask for from your employees. While I do not expect you to submit an actual budget to me, this is an exercise in providing good instruction to your employees. The better your instructions, the more accurate their response. In order to provide accurate instructions, you will need a basic understanding of the budgeting process. Please feel free to seek out additional information as you feel is necessary. The attachment will send you to a typical budget for an office building. This should give you an idea of the type of information you will want your employees to provide to you.

Please submit your response in a Word document

This is the book.
