The behavior that I engage regularly is decision making. Through out the day I have to decide on several things to make my day as easy as possible. The cerebral cortex, which is also known a the grey matter, plays a role in this. The cerebral cortex is divided into left and right hemispheres and into four lobes: Frontal, Temporal, Parietal, and Occipital. The frontal lobe is the largest region of the brain sitting just behind our forehead it helps control many important skills like organization, abstract reasoning, planning, attention just to name a few. I think that both sides of the brain work together to complete the processes of decision making. I believe the neurotransmitter that is used is dopamine which has a part in many important functions in the brain.

What do you think about the theories that the author presents in this chapter? Do they make sense to you or do they seem like theories that would hold more historically value?
