1) Describe some of the characteristics of slavery as a business. This could include the reasons for the capture of slaves, the treatment of slaves within the internal African based trade, the triangular trade, the middle passage, the various and horrific legs of the journey for a slave, etc.
2) Provide a brief overview of slave life within colonial America. You may include a description of the type of labor a slave might perform, what types of protection was provided slaves (if any), what kind of home life they built, and/or any cultural retentions that they brought from Africa.
3) Identify a form of resistance practiced by the enslaved.
