1. In one sentence, explain why the authors suggest it is important to connect ideas.
2. List and briefly describe the four tools the authors give for connecting ideas from sentence to sentence.
3. Use 3 of the 4 methods while drafting your Advocacy Essay. Paste these into the quiz document. Highlight and identify these methods, and then upload the file to turnitin.com (as an example, one of the methods they give is to use transition terms appropriately. I would take the portion I was composing in my paper, paste it into the quiz, and then highlight the transition words, labeling the paragraph transition words
