PART I
Analyze my current nutritional intake. Make recommendation for change. Type the paper in paragraph form and include the following information:
A. Diet History: Brief summary of myself, include the following:
a. Age and gender: 29 yrs old and a woman
b. Kilocalorie need: 1795 kcal
c. Vitamins and minerals that are important for you and why.
d. Medical conditions if any: NONE
e. Food/meal preferences: I like dairy, fish, chicken, chocolate and frozen yogurt, veggies and salads, fruits. No fast foods
B. Three day food record. (please find it in the attachment)a. This may be placed in list form or a chart (please see APA manual as to how to include this in the paper)
c. Analyze food record from the website www.choosemyplate.gov (please find that in the attachment) After examining the data, answer the following questions in the paper, in paragraph format:
a. How does my kcal intake compare with my need?
b. How does my intake of CHO, Protein, and fat compare with my need?
c. How does my intake o important vitamins/minerals compare with my need?
D. A meal plan corresponding to my calorie need (please find it in attachment)
E. Compare my three day food record to the meal plan in part D by answering the following questions (again, in paragraph form).
a. How does my intake compare with the pyramid recommendation?
b. Based upon the analysis of my intake and comparison to my meal pattern do I feel I need to make changes to my diet? Why or why not?
c. If I need to make changes, what specifically will I change? How?
PART II – please create a chart for the menu
A. Develop a one-day menu for myself that includes breakfast.lunch,dinner and at least one snack.
B.Include the changes you stated I was going to make to my intake from PART I.
C. Use the meal plan as a guide. My menu should match the plan recommendations.
