A comparative critical evaluation of two recent (published within last five years) academic journal articles that discuss a topic relating to inter-relationships between two different sets of stakeholders in the events industry. For example:
– Producers of events and consumers of events
– Producers of events and their suppliers
– Producers of events and the resident population
Compare the two articles, giving:
* A summary of key issues raised by the authors and a discussion of how the issues in both articles compare.
* Your own critical evaluation of the main points and arguments made by the authors. Give reasons to explain the extent to which you find the authors’ arguments convincing or unconvincing.
* At least three references to other sources that offer alternative perspectives on the same topic. One of these should be a website, one a journal article, and one an academic textbook. You should reference these according to the Harvard system of referencing, both in the text of your critique and in a list of sources used, at the end of your critique.
