Groups will be allocated an assignment topic which links the theory studied in the unit to the field trip/site visit.
Based on your allocated topic, you are required to write a concise, clear and well-edited report of no more than
2,500 words. Given that the report should be well supported by relevant sources of information and evidence of
research, you are required to consult and fully reference a minimum of at least six (6) different sources of
information. The site visit will be a valuable source of information for your report and you are therefore strongly
encouraged to prepare adequately prior to the site visit so that you may ask appropriate questions during the trip.
You can and should reference all personal communication used to inform your report. The use of WIKIPEDIA
online encyclopaedia is not allowed and you are strongly encouraged to use the online academic databases such
as Proquest to identify appropriate books and journal articles. You must use the Chicago Author-Date referencing
system to acknowledge your sources of information.
