Intercultural Action Plan. You have to present and justify your own Intercultural Action Plan consisting of a set of strategies for taking culture into account in your future role as a manger in an international/multicultural environment.
Format: Formal Essay
Plan: Introduction
Main Body
Conclusion
You are encouraged engage in self-reflection (and to use the first person pronoun ‘I’) and evoke your own experiences and aspirations. You may use bullet points.
Note: You have to use various theoretical frameworks of intercultural competence and/or cross-cultural management as a basis for your reflection. You should ensure that any sources of theory or data are correctly referenced in the text (e.g. Johnson, 2013) and with a full citation in a References section at the end. However, the overall focus of the IAP is on how you will apply the theory in everyday practice as a manager.
The attached list of questions is meant as a guide. It is designed to help you in the early stages of your planning. There is no need to cover all of the questions, and you are welcome to introduce further questions and issues of personal relevance to you. You are encouraged to find your own structure and progression of ideas, rather than working through the questions in order.
