Fortune

The Wall Street Journal

Forbes

USA Today

Describe the key “people problem” that the organization is experiencing (for example: dispute, turnover, class-action lawsuit). Keep focused on the main issue and include all of the following:
Based on what you know and what you have learned in class, provide an analysis of the issue at hand – what is the issue and what do you see as being the key contributing factors?
Based on what you know and have learned, how could this problem have been prevented?
What are the implications of this problem for the organization?

Describe the optimal solution to the problem. Base your recommendation on what you have learned in class, the textbook and any other relevant resources. Please address all of the following:
How would your intervention be implemented by the organization? Be specific and realistic (consider budget and legal issues).
What are the advantages and disadvantages of your recommended intervention?
Summarize why your proposed intervention would be the best approach for the organization. Make your arguments as if you were presenting your solution directly to senior management of the organization. Remember to take into account the type of organization you are dealing with.
Assignments should not exceed 5 pages in length – no smaller than 11 point font.
