I would like you to write a research paper that has an specific event (has a date), and you will write a effect/argument paper. This means you will look an an event, discuss the event, and argue the EFFECTS this event had on one aspect of the world. NARROW is the key word when it comes to your thesis and topic. I require at least 3 sources, and you must cite all your sources on a work cited page. Throughout this paper it would be nice to have a sense of focusing that happens throughout the paper. Start broad and end on a specific effect. Have a strong and noticeable thesis as well. Also having a couple side-effects are required. Little mini-effects that relate to your thesis and specific event/effects but just something extra to write about. i.e: event: 1st motorcycle built.. Main effect: increase in biker safety.. mini-effects: increase in helmet sales, increase in traffic laws, increase in motorcycle companies..

For this paper I propose that you write about Amendment 64 (event) which legalized Marijuana in Colorado on November 6, 2012. The effect I would then like you to focus on would be the decrease in teenager use (effect). Although you do not have to write about this topic, this is what I would like to see my paper written on.
