Your current developmental stage;
How your past developmental stages of growth influence your current development tasks;
How family and cultural messages influenced and continue to influence your development.
To write this paper, you are required to include information related to the family life cycle stages and individual life cycle stages based on Erikson developmental model. Also, you can use any other developmental might think relevant to your developmental history, The paper should be 6 – 8 double-spaced pages in length. The following questions serve as a guideline for completing this paper.
During your childhood and adolescent years, which areas of development (social-emotional, physical, moral, intellectual, spiritual) were supported the most? How was the support offered and how did the support impact that area of development? Did the positive support you received during that stage of development positively impact future growth and development? Provide two examples for childhood and two examples for adolescence. As you consider your examples of childhood development, what stages of development were your parents and/or siblings experiencing? How do you think their individual stages of development and family life cycle stage of development impacted their ability to be supportive towards your developmental needs? Were there any cultural messages that influenced your development in the areas you have described? To answer these questions, you may use the examples cited above.
