What I’d like us to discuss is whether it is important to include coercive control in definitions of domestic violence and/or what problems or misunderstandings may arise when we try to do this? And should psychological abuse be made a crime? Do draw on reading from Week 6 regarding the nature and impacts of domestic violence, but also reading from Week 7 regarding how we measure domestic violence and differentiate between individual acts and systematic patterns of behaviour.
