Once you read and think about the subject further, you will find yourself developing an argument or thesis statement, which can then be defended with evidence. After presenting and defending your argument, you may also include the following in your paper: 1) A brief discussion of how the work relates to other material we have read for class and to the topic of Sufism as a whole; 2) A brief assessment of the reading’s efficacy in covering its topic (e.g., was it interesting? Thorough? Fair? Why or why not?)
