Each student will research the following question: Why Clothing? This 4-6 page typewritten paper (not less
than 4 pages), double-spaced, 12 point font, Times New Roman, should be written in your own words. The
paper should follow the MLA format for documentation, including in-text citations and Works Cited page in
your appendix. Your paper should include the following:
A. An introductory paragraph that includes your thesis statement that answers the question “Why
Clothing?”
B. Three supporting points to your thesis, including current and historical research and analysis.
C. One example of modern day designer that is developing clothes in a way that supports your thesis.
D. Conclusion statement that ties all ideas together cohesively.
E. Appendix: 3-4 images to support examples provided (in addition to 4-6 written pages)
F. Appendix: Works Cited (at least three references from newspapers, journals and books)
