[order_calculator]You are expected to use diverse sources of information and to carry out an original analysis rather than summarise existing work. You are encouraged to use situations
and data from your own experience where possible.
The aim of this project is to identify lessons learned and critical success factors that can be used to improve project management performance for infrastructure
projects. To do so, you will select two contrasting types of infrastructure projects (i.e. transportation and large-scale international technology-driven projects).
These can be projects which have provided significant value to your region or country or projects you have researched in-depth for this assignment. Your Final Project
includes two major sections: a comparative analysis and your conclusions and recommendations. Your comparative analysis should focus on comparing and contrasting your
two projects on the following nine factors:
1. An overview of each project
2. The demand for such infrastructure and the expected benefits to stakeholders
3. A description of the stakeholders interests and involvement and how the stakeholders needs were assessed
4. The regulatory and political context
5. Environmental and social implications
6. The financing model adopted
7. Project management execution and control including:
1. How risks were managed throughout the project life cycle
2. How project performance was monitored and controlled
3. Challenges encountered and how these challenges were managed and overcome
8. Security and safety considerations
9. Post-implementation asset management
Following the comparative analysis, you should describe your conclusions, the lessons learned on each project and your recommendations for improving infrastructure
project performance on future projects
After the Project Proposal
You are to will prepare the Outline of the Final Project based on your approved Project Proposal. The Outline must be structured to ensure the application of the

During this week’s Discussion assignment, you had the opportunity to examine and discuss a variety of teaching strategies that reflect the CREDE standards. For this
week’s Application Assignment, you will examine your own teaching practice in order to determine areas of strength and areas needing improvement in terms of the
standards and characteristics of culturally responsive teaching.
To prepare for this assignment:
Review the CREDE standards and Dr. Garcia’s "5 Rs and 1 T." Reflect on how these standards and characteristics could be implemented in your classroom.
Next, think about how you typically teach and the extent to which you practice the CREDE standards and Dr. Garcia’s characteristics of culturally responsive teaching.
Then, focus on a particular lesson or unit that you have recently taught, and critically evaluate the extent to which it incorporates the CREDE standards and Dr.
Garcia’s "5 Rs and 1 T." To gain greater insight into your teaching, you could videotape yourself teaching a lesson, ask a colleague to observe you and
provide feedback, or record your thoughts and observations immediately following a lesson. Use the following checklist to assist in your analysis. Please note that you
do not need to submit the checklist, but you will use it to help you prepare for this Application Assignment:
Assessment Checklist of Culturally Responsive Teaching
Adapted with permission from The Five Standards for Effective Pedagogy by the Center for Research, Education, Diversity, and Excellences (CREDE) pedagogical standards.
After completing the assessment checklist, reflect on the following questions:
Which CREDE standards and culturally responsive approaches do you believe you are effectively implementing?
In what ways could your teaching be more culturally responsive?
What specific adjustments could you make to your lesson/unit plan and in your teaching approach in order to better reflect the CREDE standards and Dr. Garcia’s
"5 Rs and 1 T"?
The assignment:
Summarize your analysis and describe specific ways you could modify your unit/lesson plan and teaching approach in order to better address the needs of ELLs and
maximize learning for all students. Be certain to reference the CREDE standards and Dr. Garcia’s characteristics of culturally responsive teaching. (Assignment length:

Students are encouraged to use situations and data from their own experience where possible.
Your task for Week 5 is to prepare and hand in a proposal including the nature of the project, the sources of information you plan to use, and the most important concepts and techniques to be applied. You will receive feedback on the proposal from the Instructor in Week 6, which will give you time to make adjustments.
For this module, you are required to complete a course project that reveals mastery in application of the macroeconomic and microeconomic concepts emphasised in the course. These strategies and tactics are to be supported with macroeconomic and microeconomic theory.
Your tasks are:

2. To analyse the microeconomic market structure and demand, cost, and production conditions observed.
3. To evaluate the organisation itself for practises of risk management as well as capital structure and budgeting.
4. To develop a reasoned and evidence-based managerial strategy based on these macroeconomic, microeconomic, and organisational-specific conditions in each area of production, pricing, and resource utilisation.
Your Final Project should follow the given outline:
1. Brief company background and history
2. Description of firm’s organisation and management model
3. Competitor and market analysis
4. Product and services pricing strategies
5. Degree of regulation or deregulation
6. Risk management
