Choose a business idea and locate the key types of information you’ll need to gather in order to evaluate the potential for the venture, and to write a business plan.

Assignment Instructions:

Choose a business idea and locate the key types of information you’ll need to gather in order to evaluate the potential for the venture, and to write a business plan. Generally, you’ll need an industry overview, information regarding the competitive environment, and an analysis of the market. Tips to get you started:
•The website businesslibrary.uflib.ufl.edu/databases identifies a number of proprietary databases that provide parts of this information; some are available in the APUS Library. Many are available in government libraries, or by individual subscription.
•Federal Government websites include: www.allcountries.org/uscensus/industrial_outlook.html, www.usa.gov/Business/Business-Data.shtml, and www.sba.gov/category/navigation-structure/starting-managing-business.
•Check state government websites for business, industry, and market information.
•Local governments and/or Chambers of Commerce often provide market and competitive information on their websites.
•Search for industry organizations, trade groups, or industry associations that serve your business. Some provide extensive research (e.g., the National Restaurant Association) while others do not (National Soft Drink Association). Some require membership in order to access industry research (you do not need to subscribe!). These organizations generally hold conferences that are educational and host a variety of suppliers for the industry.
•Search for articles about your industry, products, services, competitors in high quality publications. For example, In the Library’s EBSCO Suite, you can search Academic Search Premier for a publication (e.g., Wall Street Journal, Fortune, Forbes, Business Week, Fast Company) and a topic (e.g., restaurant industry, child care industry) or competitor (e.g., TGI Friday’s, Kindercare).
•Check the Yellow Pages and/or web searches to identify competitors.

For this Assignment:
1.Identify your business and its industry.
2.List the types of information you’ll need (e.g., market size, rate of growth, number of competitors)
3.For each type, identify multiple sources for that information. You do not have to search databases that require a subscription or search for specific answers — simply indicate that the source contains a particular type of data. However, you should cite specific articles and/or organizations (e.g., an article in the Wall Street Journal, or the National Association of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers).

mac unit 3 rev

Please check this work as well they both have the same comments. please revise

This is a good start, but what you’ve turned in doesn’t quite fulfill the requirements of this assignment. Please keep in mind that this assignment asks for two distinct sections:

First, the summary should be exactly 150-200 words in length. The summary should restate Etzioni’s points in an objective, unbiased manner. Every sentence should include an attributive tag, such as Etzioni suggests, Etzioni argues, etc. The summary should not include your opinions or hint at your opinions at all.

Second, the critical response should be at least 400-500 words in length (minimum). The critical response section needs to be focused on responding to Etzioni’s particular points/techniques at the writerly level. How did his specific approaches work or not work? Why? In other words, this section should be devoted to responding to Etzioni’s particular points/techniques (discussion of how/why what he did was—or was not—successful). You should also provide examples to support your points. Rather than conveying your opinions about the topic itself, this section should be about the successfulness (or failures) of the article, using specific examples to support your arguments (about the article). You might also consider previewing your points towards the beginning of the critical response and incorporating transitions throughout. Again, this section should be at least 400-500 words in length.

Right now, I have received an essay from you, but the summary is missing.

I look forward to reading your revision! In the meantime, please feel free to let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Thanks and best wishes

Legal Memorandum

Initial interview information:
Re: Cyndi Xenon: Discrimination Claim (Sexual Harassment) Redlands, Ca.

Cyndi Xenon our client came to our office on 2 May, 2014 to get advice on how to handle what she feels is sexual harassment. She presented her concerns, which dated back to February 2005. She was an assembler on the production line. She is also a part time model for Biker-Babe magazine, Rode and Driver, and other automotive magazines. She was asked out on dates by co-workers as well as the owner of Auto-Components Plant, Inc. John Yanke. John was asking her to get paper or coins out of his pocket or pick up coins off the ground. This would get the other workers to make catcalls and laugh at her.

Cyndi had never complained in the years that she worked at the Plant. She would say things back to the men in a sexual manner and make them laugh. In October 2010, Cyndi applied and received a promotion to a position in sales.

The people in the sales department were more business oriented and did not make crude comments to Cyndi. She was now dressing in tight skirts instead of jeans and tee-shirts.

Cyndi was still joked with when she would have to go to the Plant floor, which was located on the same grounds as the sales department.

In January 2014, John was still asking Cyndi to go out and became aggressive in public by touching and brushing up against her. Cyndi would object every time he did it. The other workers started copying John’s activities.

On May 5, 2014, Cyndi negotiated a large deal with National Auto-Parts Stores, Inc. On 1 May, the deal was announced at a sales meeting on the same day that John attended. After the meeting with others in their presence, John asked Cyndi if she had slept with the National Auto-Parts Stores, Inc. buyer. Cyndi said no and left the building upset.
