Assignment Details
• Point of view: third person (no “I,” etc.)
• Length: about 1200 words (plus a Works Cited)
• Presentation: MLA style, 12-point font (Times New Roman preferred)
• Secondary sources: three minimum. Note that each body paragraph must include at least one direct quote from the primary text(s) and that each secondary source must be quoted at least once within the overall essay.
• Please note that you must turn in a regular Works Cited with this assignment: the annotated bibliography is not the same as a Works Cited, although it does contain much of the same information.

o Conclusion
• Use concrete language:
o Avoid ambiguous pronouns (e.g., it, this, that, those, these).
o Use strong active verbs.
