Introduction

Psychology

In essence, the immediate goal in psychology is to understand mental processes and behavior through establishing the general principles and cases required in making the field effective. The fundamental goal of psychology is to help transform society by understanding human behaviors. Additionally, psychological knowledge is mostly applied in solving problems that occur in various spheres of human activities. In this regard, therapists have often worked to ensure that effective treatment is given when making effective decisions and overall structure support required in psychology. A therapist in psychology is licensed to offer variety treatment with rehabilitation for patients. Generally, therapist assist patients in making decisions that would clarify their feelings for better healthy. Mostly, therapists include marriage counselors, psychologists and psychiatrists among others. Carl Gustav Jung has been known to be one of the theorists that left a legacy (Boeree 1). This paper seeks to examine Carl Gustav Jung in detail and the influence he had on the society.

Carl Gustav Jung has been known as the most influential expert in Analytical psychology. He was born on July 26, 1875 in the Swiss village of Kessewill; and died on June 6, 1961 in Zurich. During his child bearing, he was surrounded by educated family that included some clergymen. Ironically, Carl was a solitary adolescent who never cared so much about education and this was proved by the fact that, he uses sicknesses as an excuse for absenteeism. While in Basel boarding school; he became the object of jealousy harassment. It is borne in mind that, he developed an interest for treating for psychological disorders. As a result, he changed his course to medicine at the University of Basel. While he was working under Krafft-Ebing the famous neurologist, he settled on Psychiatry career. The basic idea behind this was to make his dream a reality. He strongly believed that, problem and solutions of life are based on how one view religion, which was influenced by his upbringing. After graduating, he became an expert at Burghoeltzli Mental Hospital whereby he invented in knowledge. In this regard, he became influential expert towards Analytical psychology.

The reason for coming up with Analytical psychology was to help human beings acquire balance and harmony of nature. Under this, he considered that, the human psyche is naturally religious. Jung believed that, for a complete individual life, the unconscious and conscious mind is useful. His process involved individualizing individuals and later set them on a path in order to be self-sufficient. Generally, independence was the central concept of Carl analytical psychology. This was similar to the process of homeopathic consultation.

In this regard, he proposed that, all human beings tend to share a single mind, which makes an unconscious mind. What was common in his practice was the use of techniques in bringing unconscious factors into light.  Jung believed that, an individual unconscious mind is the part, which each person stores the distinctive-personal experiences with memories, which may not be knowingly, be remembered. In that aspect, he projected that the contents of personal experiences are organized in terms of compound clusters of arousing unconscious thoughts. In explaining this, he quoted that, one may a time have complex clusters towards their partners or parents.

The second layer of unconsciousness was regarded as the collective unconscious. This whereby all memories are kept in addition, all behavior inherited from a past life thus providing the essential shared of memories and tendencies (Jung 1). Jung argues that, individuals tend to interpret life experiences similarly because of archetypes. From his argument, he found the same archetypal images and patterns within every culture and human history period that, makes people behave according to the same laws. He used definite archetypes that explained an individual unconscious thought which in turn affect the overall behaviors.

Studies have shown that, Jung believed on certain archetypes vital in people’s lives that included the personal archetype and shadow archetype (Casement 2). Personal archetype is regarded as the personality shown in the World that concerns the personality, which many share with others. The shadow archetype is outlined as the darker part of an individual which hold frightening, hateful and part of personality that a person hind from others and to himself. In conjunction with this, Carl argued that, the anima of feminine tends to show caring, compassion, tenderness and warmth to others. On the contrary, men often hind their anima both in themselves and to others because of the ego that men have. From his point of view, archetypes have a great role in how men and women behave. It at this point, the anima assists the man to understand the female companion and vice versa.

Additionally, Jung went on to distinguish ways that human beings react to circumstance in which he found to be typical. The extraverted attitude is usually characterized on the opinion that people towards events. This implies that, it is greatly influenced by the environmental factors. On the other hand, introverted attitude lacks confidence in relation to people and the environment. Individuals with such character are unsociable. Jang used Analytical psychology to describe his own approach that as a result, healed him and developed his personality of personal assessment.

Carl Jang efforts on Analytical psychology have helped the society to consider the process of individuation, which is important in making a person whole. This knowledge has helped many people to find their identity as a result, understand their personality. Researches have shown that, many counselors and psychiatrist among others have used Carl knowledge during the counseling process, which as a result, has enhanced self-awareness (Dunne 2).

In addition, Carl has become one of the most pioneers in the field of psychology to the point that, much of his work has been invented as a course in many institutions. Many people have generated an interest in studying Analytical Psychology thus, equipped with the knowledge that the society requires. His concept on introverts and extroverts has enabled people to understand one another thus avoiding conflicts that emerge from character differences. As a result, there has been a better understanding on the different personalities that people have.

Jung knowledge has also influenced the society to know that, whether an individual is extrovert or introvert, he or she ought to deal with the world that involves dealing with characters that may affect others.

Conclusion

As discussed in this paper, Carl Jung has influenced the psychology field. In addition, his work has influenced the society as a whole. Many people have acquired knowledge on the different character that people have which in turn has ensured people living in harmony (Dunne 2). As discussed in the paper, his work has enabled many counselors and psychiatrist to handle patients effectively by understanding first their personality and their behaviors. Therefore, this paper examined Carl Gustav Jung in detail and the influence he had on the society.

Theory of knowledge

Introduction

It is a well-documented fact; the theory of knowledge entails the process of discovering as well as, sharing students views about knowledge issues that can be achieved in gaining knowledge. In essence, theory of knowledge is concern with areas of knowledge, ways of transcending knowledge, justifications on knowledge claims and the nature of acquiring knowledge For the past years, there have been a contentious issue concerning whether it is possible to attain knowledge; despite the problem of bias and selection (Hobhouse 15). Despite the fact,  many have opposed the fact; it is possible to gain knowledge despite the problem of bias and selection. With this regard, this paper seeks to support the fact that, it is possible to attain knowledge despite the problems of bias. This will be based at the history of area of knowledge with the titanic event where the owner of the ship doesn’t add extra safety boats to ruin the image of the ship.

Titanic event

According to Lehrer (20) the level understanding of the scientific method tends to describe the observation made in the concept of knowledge indicating how bias can be minimized. With this regard, Lehrer acclaim the fact that, it is possible to gather essential knowledge despite the problem of bias. Based on the concept of Titanic event, whether or not bias acted as problems with no doubt; the results have been generated in addition, useful knowledge being gathered.

Hobhouse (18) argue that, within the time of construction, titanic was the largest ship ever built. It was built by Wolff of Belfast and Harland in early nineteen hundred years. Subsequently, it was equipped with design technology including watertight compartments designed to seal off the event of punctured hull. With this in mind, because of the safety features designed in technology many assumed to be unsinkable.

Nevertheless, in 1912, the titanic sank estimated to be the most possible accident of the sea. Following the Titanic tragedy, scientists researched on what caused the titanic disaster and in their findings; they found design flaws and material flaws. When the Titanic crashed with the iceberg, the wrought iron and the hull steel failed due to the brittle fracture. In this regard, scientist argues that, the type of catastrophic failure within the structural materials occurs at awfully high speeds (Lehrer 28). Subsequently, the cause of the brittle fracture includes impact of loading, low temperature, high content of sulphur in addition, high speeds. Following this argument from scientists, the three factors were present during Titanic disaster. In facts; the Titanic traveled at high speed, the water temperature was much below freezing point, hull steel had high levels of sulphur in addition, and there was an impact on the iceberg.

With this in regard, it is noteworthy that, despite the problem in bias; knowledge can be achieved. This can be outline in the concept of scientists establishing the possible cause for Titanic disaster. In addition, the second concept that led to Titanic Disaster was the recuperation of the hull steel from Titanic wreck, which was noted by scientist. The steel edges were shattered in addition; the metal never bends. The result concerning the facts was showed after the test was done which later confirmed that, the plates never deformed; instead they fractured when the Titanic clouted the iceberg. Following Titanic disaster, the confirmation and the selective quotation of the cause has been part of the knowledge process. The scientific methods have been designed to ensure that knowledge work objectively without biases.

The history of Titanic disaster is filled with known explanations to the scientists expanding knowledge through more rigorous testing, new facts and scientific advances. In other words, researchers have expanded their knowledge in the discovery reflecting on Titanic Disaster. Having established the causes of the Titanic tragedy; it was established that, the tragedy was not the fault of the designers but; it was caused by the ship moving in to ice field and at full speed. In this context, Morton (39) raises a contentious issue that, the counterclaims of the Titanic tragedy has been considered assisting in testable explanation form about the similar tragedy in the future. Typically, science knowledge has been a broad sense of knowledge similarly, been used in modern terms reducing man ignorance through establishing better ways of eradicating future tragedies. For students specializing with engineering; they have obtained diverse instructional materials thus, increasing knowledge and increasing knowledge. Typically, it has been possible for many students to attain knowledge thus, improving their quality aspect in technology. Thus, when knowledge is expanded, the facts obtained are powerful explanation. Such an explanation indicates the concept that, it possible to attain knowledge, despite the problems of bias along with the selection.

Theories of Knowledge

In essence, scientists attempt to acquire knowledge through scientific methods. In reality, various interpretations when reading primary sources are always subject to revision of historians work for the reason that, historians constantly make judgments in order to interpret historical events. According to Barczewski (45), the theory of Plato’s conception on knowledge introduces knowledge to be the perception of true judgment. In this regard, the theory outline knowledge to be true beliefs mostly proved with facts. In facts, Plato theory indicates that, the learning process is essential in the process of acquiring knowledge. In conjunction with this, Plato theory of knowledge outlines that, a man keeps on hunting knowledge through the learning process. Interestingly, the theory outlines that, despite the problems of bias with selection made; it is possible to attain knowledge. The theory recalls that, the true judgment with an account or experience equates to knowledge. With this in mind, Plato theory proposes that true knowledge engages more senses in the sense that, one needs to grasp the existence in order to know the truth and in turn attain knowledge. In reality, the theory outlines that, an individual keeps acquiring knowledge, and an important aspect is that, problem of bias in essence, enlightened an individual to attain the complete infallible truth.

Lehrer (22) argue that, Edmund Gettier in his theory of knowledge acclaim that; the more an individual learn the world, the more he becomes more confident to the certain claim. Additionally, the Gettier theory states that, for an individual to attain knowledge; he or she needs justifications interpreted in an accurate way, Which failure to that, leads to problems of bias. In general, philosophers knowledge argument outline that, knowledge is the disagreement or agreement of two ideas (Hobhouse 25). In this case, knowledge changes an individual to become more ground for action in addition, making an individual more effective in action. In other words, knowledge can be articulated in individual experience in problem of bias. This means that, an individual can attain knowledge despite the problems made in bias. In conjunction with this, it is possible for an individual to attain knowledge in the sense that, knowledge involves facts, principles and study investigations which despite the problem of bias can be attained.

Conclusion

In facts, knowledge is concern with facts, skills and information acquired through education experiences, problem of bias or practical understanding of the subject. To attain knowledge, an individual requires reasoning, learning and perception. As discussed in the paper, the assumption of attaining knowledge despite the problems in bias is a contentious debate. In this regard, based on the Titanic tragedy, it is with no doubt; the cause of the tragedy has enabled the scientists to expand their knowledge aiming to eradicate such tragedies in the future. According to Barczewski (50), scientists have established causes of the tragedy and as a result, have expanded knowledge. In addition, Plato and Gettier theory indicates how an individual keeps acquiring knowledge. With no doubt; this enlightened an individual to attain the complete- infallible truth thus avoiding problems of bias. Subsequently, philosophers outline that, knowledge is the disagreement or agreement of two ideas. Thus, problem of bias does not hinder the aspect of attaining knowledge. With these facts, one can claim that, it is possible to attain knowledge despite the hazards of bias and selection. With this regard, this paper has analyzed how it is possible to attain knowledge despite problems in bias and selection.

The understanding of what attributes to the whole person has been a continuous debate. In reality, as people mature they meet with people from different background and cultures that impose understanding what makes the whole person. Life is miscellaneous that, we cannot fully analyze elements that make the whole person. People differ in various aspects such as characters, attitude and background, which as a result, attribute to the different understanding of what makes the whole person. With this regard, Abe Arkoff is among authors that have been known to define in detail what attribute to the whole person. In essence, Abe Arkoff is the Emeritus professor of psychology in the University of Hawaii at Manoa where he continues to teach and train others on the overall aspect of what makes a whole person. Having attended one of his training, I am to describe what I will do, to be a whole person.

First, I will do things that entail moving out of the comfort zone. Some of these things include learning, career, and healthy relationship with both friends and family members. As discussed by Abe Arkoff, this aspect will maintain positive self-regard concerning progress in my life. From Abe Arkoff argument, people have different ideas of what they inspire to become in the future. Nevertheless, one thing is common; people have a natural impulse to keep growing in all aspects of life. With this regard, I will effectively work on things toward making my life healthy in order to ensure progress in life. First, I will have a positive view about everything I do, having a strong passion towards life progress and been certain about every direction I take in life. All these factors will push me out of the comfort zone, which as a result, will give me opportunities of making new friends in addition; coping with every challenge, I encountered.

Secondly, I will take some preliminary steps to making my dream a reality. For this to be achieved, I will use Abe Arkoff principle of accepting the fact that, making adjustments towards making a dream a reality is uncomfortable in nature which a time hurts. I will make use of a close friend to help me achieve my dreams comes to reality through which he will impose accountability in my life. Despite the fact, I may have trouble in shifting from the usual activities of doing things; I will take more control towards eliminating any anxiety brought by any obstacle I experience in life. Instead of fleeing from problems, I will recognize and deal with obstacles; that hinder me from achieving what I ought to achieve. Where my help will be limited, I will reach out for support from families and friends. Based on Abe Arkoff argument, obstacles in life tend to impose the aspect of our weakness in life. To avoid these thoughts I will focus on my own strength to strengthen my weaknesses. When am stuck, I will spontaneously take actions that enhance progress in life.

Thirdly, I will have strong confidence knowing that, I have what it takes to be a better person and achieve best in life.  In this regard, I will avoid focusing on my weak point rather, on my strengths, which will motivate me to accomplish more in life. In addition, will fail to focus on my shortcomings knowing that every successful person often fail in life. As a result, I will emulate successful people who mostly never give up in whatever they do.

Fourthly, I will do a self-analysis to know my ultimate identity in terms of who I am and my collective knowledge. Occasionally, I will be doing a quick self-investigation of the reason I do what I do thus giving the ultimate identity. As argued by Abe Arkoff, ultimate identity is essential in living a good life as the basis for self-development. In facts, self-identity enables an individual to know the weak and strength point. Using this principle, I will be in a better position of understanding what I can do best and what may seem challenging undertaking. It will eventually enable me to understand my talents and skills, which as a result, will enable me know my capabilities.

Fifthly, having known my talents, weak point and knowing my identity will enable me to come up with realistic goals that will be possible to achieve. It is with no doubt, Abe Arkoff in his experience in psychology outline that, the reason why so many people are discourage in life is as a result of making unrealistic goals that seem unachievable. For instance, if an individual has a talent of singing; setting the goal of been the best musician is realistic while on the contrary, one cannot dream of becoming the best teacher while teaching is not his interest. To some extent, it may be complex in achieving as compared to having goals that align with talents and skills. Having this in mind, I will ensure that all my goals align to my capability to ensure they are achievable.

Sixthly, I will focus on treating others the way I would love to be treated. This is the prevalent condition for Abe Arkoff who believes that, the whole person aspect demands to tap into the mind of others and find out what is truly good to them. As a result, this ensures stable relationships. In essence, maintaining a healthy relationship with others is paramount important towards distributing value to other people in an exclusive way. Abe Arkoff outlines this to be one of the successful approaches towards personal growth and fulfillment. This is because, if one treats other people fitly, people will tend to reverse the same deeds. With this in mind, will work hard to establishing healthy relationship to people that I meet and the ones I know. With in mind, it is true noting that, in order to bring out the best in others, it is essential to help them realize how to develop true passion.

Seventhly, I will not wait for opportunities to come after me rather; I will go forth in creating them. This is because; the heart is where true passion lives in addition, where innermost desires are kept. I will ensure that am passionate in everything I do. It is with no doubt, when one feels passionate about what is doing, hope, motivation and empowerment follows which is the recipe for greatness. Eighthly, I will make significant growth in the spirit through aligning my true beliefs, values and norms to ensure that I fully practice them.

In conclusion, all these will attribute to being a whole person, which eventually will help others achieve similar results. In this regard, this paper has discussed in details what I will do to become a whole person.

O’Brien, things that Carried

It borne in mind; The things they carried is a story by Tim O’Brien published in 1990. This collection is narrated in third and first person. The first person is derived in the text where the narrator states he is trustworthy and personal, but O’Brien notifies the reader against the very pitfall who states that war stories should be mistrusted regardless of who is narrating. The things thy carried is a collection of stories by Tim O’Brien, and the central subject being the Vietnam War. In this context, O’Brien writing serves a significant purpose of recounting what happened evoking the reader to articulate his concept that, an excellent war story that creates suspense. With no doubt; after having aggravated that valid feeling, it does not matter whether the story is true or not. Many people regard The things they carried as the stupendous work of fiction written about Vietnam War. By fiction, one imagined accounts of people, events, and things that never exist. With this in mind, Mr. O’Brien’s work is not much of fiction since the story is a real life experience that occurred forty years ago in Vietnam. However, in many cases the true war story presented cannot be believed. If one believes it, questions of credibility turn up. To this point, Mr. O’Brien creates a platform for readers to comprehend what characters are undergoing in mind, moral paradoxes and struggles of human beings. This depicts fantastic work of Mr. O’Brien as he shifts his attention to connect readers to the story.

Amazingly, The things they carried is one of the most powerful stories in the book, since the author avoids using grand sweeping sentences but, opt to use simplicity words for instance, “War is hell”. This enables the reader to fathom that war is mystery, terror, and nasty. In brief, the story begins by describing the Vietnam experience, and the title suggests, The things they carried highlight several things that are intangible such as fear and guilt, and intangible things such as Matches. It is important to note that, a reoccurring theme throughout the story is expressed in the title whereby characters carry physical objects. Throughout the story, characters portray emotions like fear and sadness. For instance, Cross carries conscientiousness for lives of men.  In addition, O’Brien sets up the dichotomy between lightness and weight, whereby the war is described in terms of weight. This implies that, these characters are predestined to carry war fore the rest f their lives. As the story begins, a group of soldiers are unequipped for Vietnam War in the sense that, they carry heavy rations, photos of their lovers, and sadness and confusion is uncontrollable. These men pretend they are not fearful not to appeal silly to other soldiers. Outlandish things happen to these soldiers in Vietnam way as they lose the sense of justice and morality. Despite of their painful experiences no one grasp their experiences back at home. As the story continues, various soldiers die as other kill themselves since each of them puts blame to himself. The narrator explicated series of events, which led him to Vietnam. These series of events compile the reader to understand painful experiences that occurred during Vietnam War. In doing this, he impose fear to readers whereby readers feel like they are part of the characters. With no doubt; O’Brien blurs the distinction between fiction and the fact through using the subjection of truth in storytelling.  The result is that, it is difficult for readers to understand whether this was a true event or not. This creates suspense to readers of desiring to grasp more on Vietnam War. Conclusively, the author does an outstanding thing in his writing whereby he writes about Vietnam War through exploring events that talk about war. O’Brien can be emulated by the way he stands out that, stories have immense power of allowing listeners and narrators to confront the past as they share the unknowable. This contends the truth about Vietnam War with omissions and embellishment of detail. This represents an author who has the ability to respond to facts, and eventually creating impressionable events similar to facts.

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act

Name

Institution

Recently, President Barrack Obama signed the law of Patient protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) on March 23, 2010.  The law focused on improvement in private health insurance market that entails providing better coverage; and improving the prescription of drug coverage in the medical field. For the past years, the law has been challenged concerning its constitutionality. Although there have been controversial debate on whether the law should be approved or not, majority of democrats voted for the law. Reports have indicated that, two hundred and nineteen of democrats voted against the bill while two hundred and fifty three democrats voted for it. As a result, it became part of the law. According to Crane (2009), the bill entails some changes in insurance companies in that; they no longer have to deny coverage for pre-existing conditions, escalating patient eligibility for Medicaid, more resources in medical research and tax incentives for businesses that offer benefits of health insurance among others. While most people agree on the fact that Patient protection and Affordable Care Act are good, many people are upset for the fact that it was approved. This is because; people will be required to pay extra money for the new programs. It appears that, the new programs will be paid by many taxes along with fees from American people. In this regard, this paper seeks to examine the effect that this law has in the market.

The Effect of the Law in the Market-Driven and Non-Market Driven Decisions

The bill will have an impact on the major elements related to insurance. Among the predicted changes in the insurance market, four will have influence on the future of medical claims, insurance pool, Premiums and extension. Under guaranteed issue, it will create a risk for people to buy insurance only when they need it. In addition, it will increase the average prices for an individual market in insurance. The law will affect insurance rating changes, which will increase premiums for, healthier and younger people while reducing premiums for less healthy and older people.

Additionally, the law will accomplish a transformation of health insurance within the United States by a shared responsibility. Logical insurance markets modification will eliminate all discriminatory practices that include the pre-existing condition exclusions. Achieving the changes without increasing the health insurance premiums will mean that all Americans will be forced to be part of the system by paying taxes. In conjunction with this, law will have effect on the business market as a whole. This is because, the employers that have more than two hundred years will be required to enroll full time employment employees within the coverage. As a result, many employers will end up preferring part time employees in that, full time employees will be hard to maintain.

Because of the law creating a community first choice, many people will have medical aid benefited created which will offer help disabilities and mentally retarded.  With this in mind, many people with disabilities will opt for community based attendant services. This will directly affect many hospitals in that; there will be a common sharing market. Many patients would tend top shift to the new optional medical services been provided for (Pipes, 2010).

As said earlier, the act will implement new programs that would help in development of health clinics, health care prevention and availability of medical coverage without payment or deductibles. The American citizens will be required to pay for such expenses although without realizing. The money will be mostly deducted from taxes and VAT. The government will be forced increase VAT and taxes to acquire money from a citizen that would in turn cater for the needs discussed earlier. With this in mind, one requires strategic plans to fit in marketing decisions as discussed below.

My Strategic plan in marketing decisions to include PPACA law

On my point of view, I will work on various strategic pans in marketing to include PPACA. I will develop effective sales and marketing in order to enhance awareness for our products to clients. As a result, our business will acquire enough resources to cope with conditions within PPACA law. We will use part of our profits to pay health insurance since our business has more that fifty employees. Because the bill would have effect on national spending, I will introduce different policies that would in return attract different clients based on their earnings. In conjunction with this, our prices will be relatively fare to attract customers that have different income.

Target Audience

Our company will aim to target the individuals with low and high income. This will be achieved by having different pricing policies, which would not hinder any individual affected by   PPACA law. For the sake of this, we will demonstrate our demographical information in a way that, the aged will acquire cheaper medical services thus allowing them to shift to the services offered by the government.

Effect on five environmental forces

The PPACA law will affect the five environmental forces in several ways. The five environmental forces include Competition, Social, Technology, Regulatory and economic. This will lead to consumers changing their wants and needs because life will be too expensive due to increment in taxes and VAT. This will directly affect business operators due to the fact that, many individuals income would not cater for most items sold in the market.  Secondly, there will be changes in technology due to expand in Medicaid eligibility. Additionally, there will be the establishment of national voluntary insurance program. This implies that, there will be an increase in technology to meet such improvement. In this regard, the services will be so much available thus affecting the market place. Because of making medical services available, most private hospitals will end up not being successful in business because many would prefer free medical services or less expensive (Greenwald, 2010).

As said earlier, the government will be required to set high regulations in business in order to raise money that would accommodate such improvement. This implies that, businesses will be required to spend a lot of money in regulation, which will include overhanging in terms of licenses among others. Businesses will end spending extra expenses, which in return will minimize their profits. In conclusion, this will also affect their pricing because they will be forced to increase their prices for the sake of not making complete loss (Foster, 2010).

The Motorcycle Diaries

In brief, The motorcycle diaries is a film that consist of diary entries about the journey of Ernesto “Che” Guevara as he take a trip in Latin America with Alberto Granados. The trip inspired this man to become who he did not expect to be. Alberto and Guevara witness injustice that destitute social classes and people they could never have encountered before. As the film continues, the road represents captivating and genuine pictures of Latin American identity.  During their journey, Granados and Guevara encounter various challenges such as poverty of the indigenous peasants. In Chile, they met a couple who had been rejected by the society due to their socialist beliefs.  As a way of demonstrating solidarity, Guevara denies to put on the rubber glove instead, shake bare hands, and swims in the river despite of being asthmatic. Throughout the journey, Alberto and Ernesto discovered the authenticity of a nation filled with injustice, oppression, and suffering.

In the film, both crisis and climax in the film. The former element can be obtained during the trip where both Alberto and Ernesto are introduced to the cruel world in addition, being subjected to the reality of poverty.  Climax element can be found in the movie ending; Ernesto decides to abandon the party taking place but, opts to swim despite of having asthma. Amazingly, he effectively gets across of the other side thus; credited of courageously destroying the indistinguishable barrier thus, the film portrays Ernesto as a hero. In reality, there are three characters that depict a precise meaning in their costumes. These include Rodrigo De la Serna, Mercedes Moran, and Gael Garcia Bernal.  The three are dressed in heavy jackets probably due to South American weather.

Typically, the film depicts one property used to portray meaning to audiences. The film represents two characters Albert Granado and Che Guevara decide to travel by the motorcycle. As outlined in the film, the motorcycle breaks down after they began the journey. In this context, motorcycle is one property used to highlight the challenges that their fellow countrymen undergo. The motorcycle creates a platform for readers to articulate challenges that occur throughout the movie.  Quintessentially, the setting of the film is in South America whereby Ernesto proposes the aspect if touring the place. After quite a long debate, Ernest invites Alberto to the journey where they decide to travel by motorcycle. A focus feature is on the challenges presented during the trip whereby, Ernest and Alberto encounter challenges to their destination.  As the film starts, Ernest and Alberto are in an  island that seems undeveloped in road construction. Making of a Nation

In the bible, it is well documented that, Hebrew slaves were held captive for a long a time until God ordained Moses to rescue, and make them a nation free from slavery. The story starts by God Calling Moses who in his weaknesses; wanted to use. It is borne in mind that, Pharaoh enslaved the Hebrew nation to the extent would not tolerate anyone recommending freedom (Edwards, 2010). Because of Pharaoh Chauvinism, God used ten floods to prove his superiority. Although, pharaoh used magician power; the power of God overpowered him to the extent of the pharaoh son dying. As a result, pharaoh released the Hebrew nation chasing them away in the red sea where miracle occurred. Later, the Hebrews nation disobeyed God and as a result, wandered around for forty years. There after the Covenant agreement, Decalogue and Code of Laws and instructions for the Tabernacle and priesthood occur. With this regard, this paper seeks to examines the above phases and discuss what God was doing to transform the people of Hebrew to a nation.

The exodus Passover, Sea of Reeds

First, the exodus Passover highlight about God calling Moses to free Hebrews from Egypt slavery. Soon afterward, Moses returned to Egypt and ordered Pharaoh to release the Hebrews to a nation. Pharaoh repudiated and; as a result, God uses ten floods. The tenth plague is whereby the name Passover derived its name. When the angel of death was visiting Egypt, it passed over into Hebrew homes that were discernible with lambs’ blood on the doorposts. As a result, the pharaoh son died which led Pharaoh to release Hebrews. Soon after, pharaoh changed his mind whereby he sent soldiers after Hebrews to bring them back into slavery.

Interestingly, they encountered with the red sea and God performed a miracle of parting the sea of Reeds to rescue them. Afterwards, the Hebrews began their journey in search for Promised Land while the soldiers were wept in water. At this point, God was using miracle to transform Hebrew salves to a nation. The story narrates how the Hebrews gained freedom.

The Covenant agreement

Exodus 19:3-6 Pharr (2010), traces the promise made by God to the children of Israel encamped in Mount Sinai. God spoke to Moses in which he made an agreement to the children of Israel. God words reminded the Hebrews on what he had done to the Egyptians in rescuing them in addition, made a covenant with them that, if they obey God they would be a treasure, kingdom of priests as well as a holy nation. With this regard, God was using a promise to the children of Israel in transforming them to be the nation he would love them to be; a holy nation, special treasure and the kingdom of priest.

The Decalogue and Code of Laws

In Exodus 20-24, Lioy (2004) argue that, God used Decalogue and Code of Laws to define sin and changed Israel conduct. The first four commandments explained the children relationship with God and the six, relationship with other people. In this case, God used Decalogue to show his concern for the entire life of Hebrew salves to a nation. This is because; the Decalogue laws were instructions on how the Israelites to live in service to God and fellow citizens.

The instructions for the Tabernacle and priesthood

The instructions for the Tabernacle and priesthood were fundamental instructions concerning the holy sanctuary that God wanted the Israelites to make. The structure of the tabernacle is instructed in various items that focus on the architectural. In addition, instructions are ordained to the priesthood. Priests are instructed to be consecrated and sacred vestments. For the first time, children of Israel are ordained a priesthood that built altars, worship Yahweh and filled with God’s power. In this regard, priests were required to have four inner garments, breaches, headdress and sash (Edwards, 2010).

With this regard, God was using instruction to ensure that the children of Israel recognize the need of worshipping a true God in addition, ordaining priests that would assist them in their walk of God. In conclusion, by recognizing the need of true worship and right tabernacle God wanted to use those instructions to guide the Hebrews to the nation he would desire.

Introduction

The innovations of hector Berlioz in orchestration

Essentially, music is an important aspect in people life. Many regard music to be the art form in which the common elements are pitch, rhythm, dynamics and the sonic qualities. In reality, music ranges in the way it has been composed, recreation to performance and the sense of improvisation. In this regard, orchestration is said to be the practice of writing particularly for an orchestra. In general, sense, many have outlined orchestration to be the re-adaptation of the existing music into medium, full or else orchestra. With this regard, researchers argue that, for music to make the impact, it requires people that, have passion in music (Galkin 5). It is a well documented that, Hector Berlioz has been known for his idealistic passion in orchestration music. He left a legacy in his predominant composition. With this in mind, this paper seeks to analyze the innovations of hector Berlioz in orchestration.

To start with, Hector Berlioz was born in 1803 and died in 1869. He was a French romantic composer from which he was known for his best composition. He made a fundamental contribution in the modern orchestra along with his Treatise on instrumentation. Throughout Hector’s  life, he specified with huge orchestral forces through which he performed various concerts with one thousand musicians. To some point, he composed almost fifty songs that led him to further progress in composing similar to Richard Wagner and Gustav Mahler (Crabbe 10). Crabbe argues that, Hector Berlioz became a famous composer whereby he left the bequest in his highly influential Treatise on instrumentation that was published in the early 1844. Throughout his life, he showed an interest in music that, contributed to great innovation in orchestration. Actually, his life was documented to involve  music in that, he started music at the age of twelve years.

With in mind, the feature of Berlioz output particularly in the innovation of orchestration is well documented. Studies show that, throughout Berlioz career, he purposed to entrenched music establishment that majored in innovation in harmony, instrumentation, form and outright indignation (Berlioz 10). The first innovation that he made orchestration was using whatever risk effect for the most part of expressing the passion behind composition. Music experts argue that, the innovation of using any risk to express his imaginative expression highly developed him to have a sense of drama (Berlioz 15). In this regard, he left a legacy that, if any music composition ought to be more effective; it should make use of imaginative expression, which as a result, introduces the sense of drama.

In conjunction with this, in the second quarter of the 19th century, Berlioz led Paris to become best known in music vanguard. The most advocates was his radical romanticism in poetry, virtuosity and drama that replaced the old classical period of elegance along with formal balance. In facts, most of the Parisian music scenes by then were mostly foreigners. Berlioz having a romantic temperament in nature, he used it in both his life and music. For that reason, he became passionate in his composition, which many up to date get inspired by his life. Interestingly, each one of his composition had a purely instrumental pieces expressed in literary concept and mostly in a highly vivid terms. Actually, this output placed his composing music in romantic vanguard that generally attracted many audience to listen to the music. Due to the progress he had done in composition of music; heroism was a recurring ideal like an artist.

A supercilious idealistic was his leaping imagination. Berlioz was subject to violent emotional changes from which his sharp wit hoarded him from the morbid self-pity over the disappointments that he had undergone in his professional life. The key that made him flourish was the intensity in his personality woven into music. All his music was expressed by poetry, religion, drama or literature. From this aspect, music experts argue that, Berlioz aspect in the way he expressed music highlight that, sincerity expression is the fundamental expression that often attracts the audience and one reading the song composed (Berlioz 17). This implies that, Hector innovate the aspect of sincerity expression to be the fundamental in composing music.

This is well acknowledged in the Les troyens and in his aspects of monumental converge. Correspondingly, his symphonies in the explicitly dramatic based on the theme representing his beloved clearly, indicated his creative. Among his orchestra works, Overture Le carnaval romain has been said to be the most brilliant and extrovert. With this regard, studies show that, Requiem with Te Deum exploited the most spacious and ceremonial style in orchestration (Galkin 15). Galkin argue that, through Hector composition style; it has been considered idiosyncratic. This means that, his composition relied on both quantity of song consist of technique as well as inspiration. With this in mind, many have considered to play a fundamental role in orchestration.

Berlioz left the most ineradicable mark as an orchestrator in the way he found innumerable along with subtle ways of combining with contrast instruments in both and off the stage. He effectively liberated the procedure of orchestrator for future generations and future composers. Typically, many emulate him in the expansive melody of the irregular length phrase whose expressive he indicated they are not tonally adventurous harmonies. In this regard, innovation were made in the aspect that, he used a variety of fine effects that include superimposition of different themes and striking within rhythmic articulation that gives much of the vitality. This without doubt expresses innovation in the orchestration.

Certainly, it is difficult to separate inspirations, life experiences with orchestra music. According to Gloirer incorporated (3), this is proven in Berlioz knowledge in music. For instance, he widely used the knowledge he had in French, English and German to write extraordinary contemporary literature. In essence, he has been known for his remarkable evocative memoires, which he wrote mostly in music. Fundamentally, no other French music write as well as Berlioz did. For that reason, his short stories are published and worldly recognized. The innovation recognized in this aspect is, using his talent in writing to marking development in music composition. This is well documented by Galkin (17) who in his research indicates that; in 1830, the symphonies fantastique published by Berlioz indeed made a progress in music. This contributed many to recognize his effort in music to the extent he was considered the masterpiece. Interestingly, symphonies fantastique is the most important piece of the romantic period, which is very popular in many concerts currently in the global wide. For that reason, his work subsequently became most preferred in Paris. The main composer intention was to develop diverse episodes in lives of the artist as they follow musical treatment. As a result, symphonies fantastique considered the spoken act of the opera in introducing the musical movement to inspire the character and expression.

Some innovation of Hector Berlioz in orchestration can be recognized in his richness of tone, color and delicate passage. All of his composition communicated a rich message that many regarded to be rich of wisdom. In the article Orchestration Anthropology of writing review 2007, Maloney argue that, as books began to publish about instrumental practices, no one has done what Berlioz had made in orchestration. In this regard, Maloney argue that, Berlioz has been best known in the way he balanced the appropriate numbers with types of instrumentals, various timbers, way of expression and ranges of character was dexterity beyond meager instrumentation.

Conclusion

In reality, Hector Berlioz has been well known for the legacy he left in orchestration. It is a well-documented fact that, music composition requires skills, interests, passion and poem among others. As discussed in this paper, he left an ineradicable mark as an orchestrator in the aspect, in which he found innumerable and subtle ways of combining; with contrast instruments in both and off the stage (Galkin 5). Additionally, he made use of fine effects including superimposition of various themes and striking within rhythmic articulation that gives much of the vitality. In conjunction with this, his composition relied on both quantity of song that was based on effective technique together with inspiration. With this in mind, Berlioz can be outlined as one of the individual who did remarkable work in orchestration. By that fact, this paper has effectively analyzed the innovations of hector Berlioz in orchestration.

Introduction

The Hamlet and fences drama are the most interesting dramas. Hamlet play is one of the great plays that are played by William Shakespeare. The theme of the play covers revenge, indecision, deception, loyalty, ambition along with fate. The play starts with the news of King Hamlet of Denmark dying that later contributes to Denmark preparing for war with “Young Fortinbras in Norway” (Bradley, pp1).The ghost of the late King Hamlet is spotted on Elsinore Castle within Denmark. King Claudius, who later rules Denmark, takes the King Hamlet’s wife as his wife and the Queen of Denmark. Due to the fear that King Claudius had for the Young Fortinbras of Norway, he sent ambassadors of Norway urging the King of Norway to control Young Fortinbras. The Queen and the King never understood why Hamlet mourned over his father’s death for two months. Hamlet explains why he does not like the idea of his mother getting married so quickly after his father’s death. Laertes, who is the son of the Lord Chamberlain Polonius, gives Ophelia warning of not falling in love with Young Hamlet. Hamlet who is the Prince, mourns to his mother and father’s death while after Gertrude remarry Claudius.

The ghost of Hamlet’s father appears to Queen and inform him that his father’s death was as a result of Claudius who had poisoned him. Hamlet swears to avenge his father’s death by killing the eavesdropping Polonius and the court of the Chamberlain. Polonius’s son returns to Denmark and avenge his father’s death. Ophelia dies through drowning thus duel takes place that ends with the death of Hamlet, Claudius, Gertrude and Laertes. The fence drama presents all questions that include misunderstanding and doubts. The author analyses and describes the analyses of fencing periods, the weapons, fencing terminology and methods of teaching. The play begins on Troy and Bono drinking and talking (Darrell pp10). There is something interesting in both the plays; they both have explosive emotional reaction in their experiences. For instance, Hamlet chooses to avenge after being told by his father’s ghost that, Claudius was responsible over his death. On the other hand, Troy believes he is immortal when it comes to issues of death and life. He viewed death as an important aspect in life. Although there are similarities, it is vital to look at how each drama stands in his characteristics.

Hamlet Play

Summary of his Characters

The list of this play characters give a convenient introduction to this drama. The male and female characters bring the play plot to become real. This play is closest drama whose characters play a vital role in making the story interesting. There are nineteen characters that bring interesting information and facts about the play by use of dialogue. The play is a shake- spear’s tragedy that makes Hamlet avenge because of his father. His avenge was a disaster through which he perishes. Much of the play seems to be naturalism for it gives the meaning of what is happening in the current society. Many individuals in the drama choose to avenge without considering the impact it will thereafter cause. This is a reality that occurs in everyday life, people react after being told what others did thus considering to revenge without having the truth of the information.

The plot is comic relief by the fact that, it interrupts the tragic death of Hamlet’s parents to the ghost appearing to Hamlet informing him that Claudia was responsible over his father’s death. He wins over revenging but is stabled and poisonous in the end. He later tells Harotio to give his story. Therefore, it demonstrates so many revenges that have occurred.  It’s a globe theater plays (Pennington, pp50).

Themes and its meaning

The main theme of the play is to bring into consideration on how individuals overlook the motive of murder and instead concentrate on finding who the murder is. For instance, Hamlet overlooked the concept of why his father was killed instead he chose to revenge. It also brings into consideration how small things are taken for granted and they mean a lot to other people. The issue of remarrying as soon as the other partner die may bring many conflicts in the future. Hamlet was upset on the fact that, his mother remarried immediately after the death of his father. He never took time to heal before engaging into the other relationship therefore, a lesson for marriages is also derived. After Hamlet death, he tells Haratio to tell the story on his behalf. This shows the importance of having someone who can do what is required to be completed without hesitation.

The fence play

The fence play has seven characters that play in the form of dialogue. For instance, there is dialogue between Rose and Lyons who later join the conversation. This drama is a romantic comedy in the sense that, Troy had a marital affair with the woman named Albert but the audience never sees her in the play. It is discovered that Alberta is impregnated who later dies when giving birth to Raynell. The skit is a mystery play due to the fact that, it is structured with blue songs. The play takes place like a key of music and the characters have their own rhythms with a melody that Wilson off of in the play. The characters repeat the phrases with a line of melody.

Theme and its meaning

This play is filled with numerous symbols that help in bringing the play into a deep meaning. One of the themes is, to attempt break the ongoing cycle of sin that generates from father to son. This is very relevant in human point of view, as to why its significant to break the cycle. An example of symbols that surrounds this theme is seeds of growth, baseball and fences. Another symbol used is the fence that was built by Cory and his father. Troy and Bono relate their stories of their childhood experience that was difficult. Their painful memories provide understanding the differences and similarities of the generation separation. At the moment Troy believed he was an adult, he shifted from his father’s place due to family conflict and abuse. This gives an awareness how family conflicts can lead to depression in children. Lyons and Cory had different upbringings. They both experienced hurtful experiences, lack of a role model and abusive environment. Their experiences prove a difficult model in helping them to grow. This understanding brings into mind how childhood experiences are useful in molding an individual character. A role model is important in molding one’s character.

Conclusion

The two plays bring into concept how different people view things. Hamlet play shows, how individuals react from different situations. Avenge is the concept in the play. In the fence play, the idea of how childhood experiences affect children upbringing is viewed. Both plays have lessons that the society can learn from as discussed in this paper.

In reality, CEO face challenges everyday, which demand immediate solutions and a wide range of skills. Failure of taking immediate actions can collapse a company. The CEO ensures that the company is sufficient important in all basics to ensure effective work environment for employees and other management team. In regard to this, Gerald Smarten, the CEO of Kaspa financial services, was faced with a challenge of his lifetime.

While in the meeting with his management team, the building shook. Many people in the meeting were shocked and almost everyone rushed to the window to inquire what had occurred. It was such a traumatic experience to the management team. Even though the mayor had warned that, the strike of the natural gas facilities could incinerate downturn, Smarten could not comprehend the concept. Tension was all over, meanwhile, CNN was just reporting on the incident and emergency vehicles had surrounded the building. Many people from the subway were chocking and bloody. There was nothing confirmed yet on what caused the fire until the security chief  contacted the police department and confirmed that it was a coordinated bomb explosion which also occurred in North station.

The chaos of the lost lives was tight, for this reason, Human resource manager had to work on census to find out the number of lost lives. Among the missing twenty three, three were the employees of Kaspa. Ideas on how to aid the victims differed, for instance, Schlesinger thought that by having a shelter for the victims would assist in saving lives.

As a result, Smarten brought Schlesinger thought to discussion with the other members. He called for a meeting which aim was to suggest on ways that victims would be helped. Each member was given time to debate on whether it was right to offer Kaspa towers as a temporary morgue as suggested by Schlesinger.  According to Smarten, Schlesinger opinion seemed pleasant although no company had done this before. This argument was supported by kaczmarek who wondered how other people from the society would view. In his argument, it would destroy the company reputation. Additionally, the attorney believed that, the company would suffer damage of resources in that many people would end up not investing in the firm because of lack of trust.

Ethically, smarten believed that this would led to the firm name been tied to terrorist attack. However, he was not ignoring Schlesinger argument in that, he saw this as major way of rescuing the victims affected. In regard to this, Persono countered this as credit to the investors for being a firm that stepped up during crisis that in result would invest with the firm. On the contrary, Joan opposed the Persono idea in that, it would have effect on the employees, working in a morgue. Debates on whether it was right using a shelter for the dead bodies and the bleeding victim differed. After inquiring from the police, the request took some time and the management teams were safe in doing the right thing.

Concussion

As discussed in this paper, Smarten has attributed the quality of valuing other people’s suggestions and a strong desire for success. Unfortunately, he seemed to direct his team for discussion on whether it was right to offer a room for the dead bodies instead of making hasty decisions that would help the incidence.
