You now have in-depth knowledge of specific topics in the early childhood field and you
have decided which of the topics you researched will serve as the basis for your advocacy
efforts so that you could identify the focus of your Advocacy Action Plan. Along the way
you have consulted with people from your Internship site to better understand their
thinking, gain their input, and help identify your key audiences. All of this has informed
your decisions with regard to your short- and long-term goals and the messages and
strategies that will help you reach your goals. It is time for you to use all of this
information, as well as what you learned from the Discussion, to finalize your Advocacy
Action Plan and its presentation.
