You are required to cite at least three sources not including the course textbook. Only
use the textbook for general information. It is also required to cite at least two non-
internet sources. Sources must be reliable and scholary in nature. (books, articles,
websites) This means that no wikipedia articles or encyclopedias are to be used as
citations. Last semester several students misunderstood the definition of a scholary
source so I have included the following link to better explain this requirement:

bibliography that must be submitted in addition to the six page minimum. Use standard
margins, a 12-point font, and number each page.
You must use the “Chicago Manual of Style” for the format of the paper (footnotes or
endnotes, and bibliography). You will find examples by going to the site
www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/home.html Go to the “Quick Guide” to see instructions for the
stylistic requirements. Use the “notes and bibliography” documentation system. NOTE: Do
not use a “hybrid” that some students in the past have done. These students have wrongly
combined the bibliography and footnotes. Finally, do not include a “works cited” page.
