web media

For the Reflective Web Media Creation (RWMC) assignment, you are asked to create a short piece of web media which reflects on some element of web media that has been addressed during the unit, with at least some focus on the unit themes of digitisation and/or convergence.

Your RWMC can be in any media form you prefer (ie you can create a short video, , short interactive website, photo collage presented as a slideshow)

create a document which outlines what your RWMC will be about, how you intend to create it, when you plan to undertake each step of production and why this will be the best format to present your concept to a general audience. Your RWMC asks you to “create a short piece of web media which reflects on some element of web media that has been addressed during the unit, with at least some focus on the unit themes of digitisation and/or convergence”

Given the vast range of possible formats this assignment can take, you should provide details relevant to the media platform and format you are choosing to utilise. However, there are four main areas that everyone should discuss:

[1] Rationale, Approach and Argument
Under this heading, you might discuss: What exactly will your RWMC be, and what is it about? What is the argument, narrative (story) or experience you are trying to convey? How will this be reflective of web media in general, and either or both of the unit themes of convergence and digitisation? Which readings and other sources from the unit are informing your RWMC production (and how are you using them)? How will you ensure that your RWMC is accessible, viewable or navigable by a generalist audience within 3 minutes?

[2] Media Format(s)
Under this heading, you might discuss: What media format or formats will your RWMC take? Why have you chosen this format and why is it the most appropriate one for the argument, narrative or experience you’re trying to convey? Given your RWMC has to be online and public, how will you utilise the affordances of the presentation platform? (For example, if you’re using YouTube, don’t just think about the video you’re making, but also the various other tools, such as the description, tagging and so forth that the YouTube platform offers you.) What challenges or restrictions does your chosen media format or formats present, and how will you manage these challenges?

[3] Media Sources and Copyright
Under this heading, you might discuss: What elements of your RWMC will be originally created, and which elements will be borrowed and remixed from elsewhere? If you’re incorporating existing media, under what conditions will it be utilised in your RWMC? How will you select any remixed media and under what copyright terms will it be located? If you’re planning on using material under a Creative Commons license, for example, be specific about how these will be found, how you will cite them accurately and so forth. If you are planning on using Fair Dealing to utilise commercial media that is still under full copyright, how will you indicate this in your RWMC? How are you planning to indicate the copyright status of your RWMC?

[4] Production Process and Timeline: (Estimation shoul be fine)
Under this heading, you might discuss: What is the detailed day by day production plan for your RWMC? When will each task be completed in your production, and how will you incorporate proofing, testing or other processes to ensure your RWMC is as accurate as you can make it? When will your RWMC be completed and how will you allow for Pitch feedback from your tutor in your production timeline? Will you have any assistance at any stage of your RWMC from other people? It is possible to have other people assist you with tasks, but not conceptually. For example, if you decided to make a short video and asked someone else to assist you by operating the video camera so you could film yourself talking, that would be fine BUT they could not offer ANY conceptual or design input.

Setting up a home office

A Simple WBS Development

A simplified WBS is to develop a new prototype tablet computer. At the top of the chart (level 1) is the project end item—the E-Slim Tablet x-13 Prototype. The subdeliverables levels (2–5) below level 1 represent further decomposition of work. The levels of the structure can also represent information for different levels of management. For example, level 1 information represents the total project objective and is useful to top management; levels 2, 3, and 4 are suitable for middle management; and level 5 is for first-line managers.

Level 2 indicates there are two major deliverables—Hardware and CPU, or central processing unit. (There are likely to be other major deliverables such as software, but for illustrative purposes we are limiting our focus to just two major deliverables.) At level 3, the CPU is connected to three deliverables—Power Supply, Flash ROM, and I/O Controller. The I/O Controller has three subdeliverables at level 4—USB Slots, Internet, and Touch Screen. The many subdeliverables for USB Slots and Internet have not been decomposed. The Touch Screen (shaded) has been decomposed down to level 5 and to the work package level.

Note that level 2, Hardware, skips levels 3 and 4 because the final subdeliverables can be pushed down to the lowest manageable level 5; skipping levels 3 and 4 suggests little coordination is needed and skilled team members are already familiar with the work needed to complete the level 5 subdeliverables. For example, Hardware requires four subdeliverables at level 5—Frame, Cameras, Speakers, and Antenna. Each subdeliverable includes work packages that will be completed by an assigned organizational unit. Observe that the Cameras subdeliverable includes four work packages—WP-C1, 2, 3, and 4. The Back Light, a subdeliverable of Touch Screen, includes three work packages—WP-L 1, 2, and 3.

The lowest level of the WBS is called a work package. Work packages are short-duration tasks that have a definite start and stop point, consume resources, and represent cost. Each work package is a control point. A work package manager is responsible for seeing that the package is completed on time, within budget, and according to technical specifications. Practice suggests a work pack- age should not exceed 10 workdays or one reporting period. If a work package has a duration exceeding 10 days, check or monitoring points should be established within the duration, say, every three to five days, so progress and problems can be identified before too much time has passed. Each work package of the WBS should be as independent of other packages of the project as possible. No work package is described in more than one subdeliverable of the WBS.

There is an important difference from start to finish between the last work breakdown subdeliverable and a work package. Typically, a work breakdown sub- deliverable includes the outcomes of more than one work package from perhaps two or three departments. Therefore, the subdeliverable does not have a duration of its own and does not consume resources or cost money directly. (In a sense, of course, a duration for a particular work breakdown element can be derived from identifying which work package must start first [earliest] and which package will be the latest to finish; the difference from start to finish becomes the duration for the subdeliverable.) The higher elements are used to identify deliverables at different phases in the project and to develop status reports during the execution stage of the project life cycle. Thus, the work package is the basic unit used for planning, scheduling, and controlling the project.

Develop a WBS for a project in which you are going to setup an office in your home or home office. NOTE: You are not setting up a home office for a corporation. You are simply converting a room in your home into an office.

Try to identify all of the major components (items that you’ll need) and provide three levels of detail.

Strategic Management

Your task is to undertake strategic planning for your own organisation or for an organisation you are familiar with in your country or region.
Locate the vision statement, mission statement, statement of values and formal objectives of your chosen organisation. Not all organisations have a statement of values; if that is the case, you can do without the statement of values. Not all organisations have formal objectives; if that is the case, you will be required to develop some appropriate objectives as part of the assignment.
Write a report in which you:
Briefly describe the organisation and its industry.
Identify the vision statement, mission statement and statement of values; explain their appropriateness for the organisation; suggest potential improvements.
Identify objectives; analyse their appropriateness for the organisation; suggest potential improvements.
Undertake an internal analysis of the organisation and an analysis of its external environment, using appropriate strategic management tools.
Develop an appropriate strategy for the organisation. Make sure you explain why the strategy is relevant and how it relates to vision / mission / objectives. Clearly justify your argument.

You do not need to develop implementation processes. But you should mention the critical importance of implementation, execution and evaluation of the strategies you come up with for this assignment.
Note: In a real world strategic plan it is unlikely that you would use formal referencing. While you might not use referencing in an actual strategic plan, you would definitely source your information from various company/industry reports and from journal articles. In this assignment you are required to make the use of such sources explicit through referencing.

Public Law

The question i have is Reflecting on the notion of governmentality, and focusing on your own special study, to what extent do you believe regulation, and the knowledge it builds upon, to ever be politically neutral? In turn, what does this mean for the impact, consequences, and side-effects of regulation?” . The special study is the ROAD TO THE IRAQ WAR. It is a 5000 word essay. I have done up to 2100 words already concerning the first part of the question. I want the writer to answer the next part of the question ”In turn, what does this mean for the impact, consequences, and side-effects of regulation?”. Although im sending the part of the essay iv done i want the writer to read it and analyze it,evaluates and correlate it so that the next part of essay which the writer is doing can match and correlate with my part . i dont need an intoduction in the part the writer does. It should be done in Arial font, Oscola style of referencing
I have extensively used Foucault theory on governmentality. Also this resource “Security, population and
