History (western civilization): Historians have tended to agree with Walter Laquer when he wrote that “It is easy to claim that everyone should have known what would happen once Fascism came to power

This is an exam essay about: Explaining the Holocaust. For many years, historians have tended to agree with Walter Laquer when he wrote that “It is easy to claim that everyone should have known what would happen once Fascism came to power. But such an approach is ahistorical. There was no precedent in recent European history for the murderous character of German National Socialism and for this reason most contemporaries were caught unprepared”. However, this view has been challenged strongly, most recently by Daniel Jonah Goldhagen in his best-selling book, Hitler’s Willing Executioners. He has written that “not economic hardship, not the coercive means of a totalitarian state, not social psychological pressure, not invariable psychological propensities, but ideas about Jews that were pervasive in Germany and had been for decades induced ordinary Germans to kill systematically and without pity”. In other words, Laquer is arguing that even Germans who supported the Nazis were not expecting what the reality of the Holocaust turned out to be; Goldhagen, on the other hand, is arguing that Nazism simply permitted deep seated ideas and beliefs to be acted on, and that all Germans became (as his title suggests) willing participants in the Holocaust.

I will provide you with the rubric. Please follow up the Rubric for writing this essay. Thank you

Explaining the Holocaust. For many years, historians have tended to agree with Walter Laquer when he wrote that ?œIt is easy to claim that everyone should have known what would happen once Fascism came to power. But such an approach is ahistorical. There was no precedent in recent European history for the murderous character of German National Socialism and for this reason most contemporaries were caught unprepared?. However, this view has been challenged strongly, most recently by Daniel Jonah Goldhagen in his best-selling book, Hitler??s Willing Executioners. He has written that ?œnot economic hardship, not the coercive means of a totalitarian state, not social psychological pressure, not invariable psychological propensities, but ideas about Jews that were pervasive in Germany and had been for decades induced ordinary Germans to kill systematically and without pity?.
Which of these arguments is closer to the historical reality as you understand it? Was the Holocaust something that no one could have foreseen (except perhaps for Hitler??s inner circle), or was it just the natural conclusion to tendencies present in German history long before Hitler arrived on the scene? Whichever approach you take, provide at least six specific historical examples to support your thesis.

Global Marketing: This will facilitate your learning and better prepare you for the final exam and for your future academic studies

You are expected to attend and participate in all of your tutorials throughout semester. This will facilitate your learning and better prepare you for the final exam and for your future academic studies. Each non-presenting student must come prepared to each tutorial when there is a case study presentation, with a Question (and your suggested Answer to that question) based on your reading of at least one peer-reviewed academic article. This academic articles must be related to the chapter topic that the case study is from (for example, if the case study is at the end of the chapter on Economics, then you must research and read an academic article relating to an international economic issue and develop a question and answer based on your reading of that article). You must relate your academic article, question and answer to marketing (i.e. what is the influence of economics on marketing factors such as market entry, the marketing mix, etc.) Your question must not be based on the questions at the end of the case study. You must hand a hard typed copy of your Question and Answer, along with a print-out of the first page of your academic article, to your tutor at the end of each tutorial where there is a case study presentation. Please note that, under NO circumstances will late Question and Answer sheets be accepted outside of the tutorial time – no exceptions. No Q&A (including a copy of the first page of the academic article) within the tutorial = No mark. Q & A not typed = no mark (handwritten Q&As will NOT be marked). Q&As will not be accepted through email. Please note that the Q&A is an individual effort.

You must include a hard copy of the first page of each of your academic articles (this should show the Abstract, author name(s), date (year), article title, journal name, no. issue and page no’s) with your Q&As. Each student must submit 5 x Q&As during semester.

Marks for the weekly Q&As will be awarded based on the following:
1 academic article = a maximum of 2 marks
2 academic articles = a maximum of 2.5 marks
3 or more academic articles = a maximum of 3 marks

If the quality of the Q&As is poor, at least 0.5 marks will be deduced from the above. For students who provide screen shots rather than the first page, half the marks will be deducted. For those who have a Q & A without any academic articles (based solely on the textbook and/or websites) you will receive a maximum mark of 0.5 (simply to differentiate your effort from those who don’t submit a Q & A at all). It is not enough just to have obtained academic articles – you must provide evidence of analysis and application to the question and the theory underlying the case study

Pharmacotherapeutics For Prescribing

within the context of a case study discuss the pharmacotherapeutics of any two prescibed medications .Clearly identify in introduction what asignment is about and why you have choosen this approach ,briefly identify the relationship of the medication to the patients condition in the introduction .In the body of the assignment , which should be 80-90% of word count you need to focus on the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of the 2 drugs While it is important that you provide supporting evidence for what you are saying this is not the same as cutting and pasting from literature sources even though you acknowledge that source .it is much better to describe ,explain, discuss in your own words which you then can support with evidence based sources do not use words or phrases that you do not understand or cant explain in your own words .within case study context keep referring back to patient where relevant conclusion needs to sum up main points in body of assignment .I work as a macmillan nurse and would like to use metoclopramide 10mg tid and co-danthramer as my 2 drugs .the patient has nausea and constipation with a history of gastric cancer.
