Dmc disproportionate minority contact in the Leon detention center here in tallahassee fl

Your final assignment for this course will be a 5-7 page prospectus, or proposed plan, for the work that you will do in LS698 for your applied research project. This assignment will also include your discussion of an existing research project and the methods employed therein.

First, review the Unit 3 Web reading, Lisa Siewert’s “The Effects of Written Teacher Feedback on the Academic Achievement of Fifth-Grade Students with Learning Challenges.” Pay particular attention to the following sections of that article: Method (page 20), Data Collection (page 21), Results (page 23), and Discussion (page 24).

Part One: Summarize this researcher’s data collection, data analysis, program implementation, and program evaluation. In other words, what did Siewert do for each of these steps? This section of your paper should be approximately 2-3 pages.

Part Two: In this part, you will present your plan for the work that you will do in LS698 for your applied research project.

In your introduction, present the revised/edited version of your problem statement.
In your introduction, provide a brief overview that includes the major steps of your plan, your targeted population group, and a brief overview of your data collection and analysis plans.
In the body of your plan, be sure to explain the anticipated impact of your problem-solving plan and why your targeted population group represents a reasonable sample for research purposes.
In the body of your plan, explain in detail what steps you will take for your applied research project to complete your data collection, data analysis, problem-solving program implementation, and program evaluation in LS698. As you discuss how you would evaluate the success of your program, explain how you would measure success quantitatively and/or qualitatively.
In the body of your plan, work to apply several of the data collection and analysis methods discussed in the course and in your textbook (including, but not limited to qualitative interviews, focus groups, surveys, observation, case study research, use of secondary data, considerations of validity / reliability, sampling distributions and statistical inferences). Many of these methods were discussed in the Unit Six seminar.
Your planned methods and analysis may be quite different from Siewert’s, and that’s fine. You should not be engaging in comparing and contrasting your methods with hers. Instead, use Siewert’s article as an example to learn from as you design your own plan for Part Two of this assignment.

Part Two of your paper should be 4-5 pages.

You must use APA citations to document your sources, including Siewert’s article and any other sources that you might use. You must include both in-text citations and a references page to fully document each source that you use. You should also make sure to:

Include a title page with full name, class name, section number, and date
Include an introductory and concluding paragraph and demonstrate college-level communication through the composition of original materials in Standard American English
Use examples to support your discussion
Cite the Siewert article, and additional resources if you choose to use them, on a separate reference page at the end of your paper, and cite within the body of your paper using APA format

memo

Four police officers storm an apartment of a suspected drug trafficker with a history of illegal firearm possession. The officers, exercising a valid search warrant, conduct a quick sweep of the apartment to account for all individuals inside, discovering the suspect in the living room reclining in a chair. The officers immediately handcuff the suspect, place him in an upright position, and explain the reason for being there. Then, the officers asked the suspect, “Is there anything we need to be aware of?” The suspect responds that a loaded semi-automatic pistol is under the bed in the master bedroom. Officers also find nearby, used drug paraphernalia and a box of unused bullets. Over the course of two hours the officers discover various amounts of illicit weapons, drugs, and money throughout the dwelling. After about 45 minutes into the raid, the suspect asks a nearby officer, “Why are you picking on me?” and asks in jest whether he should call his cousin “Vinny the Lawyer”. Another officer proceeds to ask the suspect if there was “more to find”. The suspect says “yes” and then leads them to a closet full of shoeboxes containing cocaine and marijuana. After the second exchange, and two hours after entering the dwelling, one of the officers reads the suspect his Miranda warnings.

The defense attorney has filed a motion to suppress each of the statements made by the suspect and the pistol and shoeboxes containing cocaine and marijuana seized during the execution of the warrant. Please do a 3-4 page memorandum of law evaluating the issues raised and citing appropriate authority and case law in support of your opinion as to whether or not the Court should grant the motion as to the statements and evidence seized. Your memorandum should include a statement of the facts, the issues presented, summary of relevant case law, application of the relevant law to the facts of this case and a conclusion.

what is your last price i like your draft

Oman’s ancient history heavily relies on the study of various manuscript sources, particularly those of geographers and storytellers. Information drawn from cuneiform inscriptions has provided the only flicker of hope for historical researchers to discover some in-depth information about the past of this important land of the Arabian Peninsula, whose founders and people contributed immensely to the growth and flourish of ancient human civic activity…..
Historically Omanis were skilled traders and seafarers who dominated regional commodity trading along the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Gulf.  These commercial endeavours eventually brought forth a succession of migrations that saw the growth and development of human settlements along many parts of the East African coast…
